If it weren't for low content posts, my only response would be: What.

I'm not even gonna watch the trailer...the art style looks ridiculous. What made Lucasfilms think this was a good decision?

I hope they have an anti flame bunker, cause they're gonna go down soon...

Edit: Top comment on the video with 777 thumbs up:

It's like Robot Chicken without the funny.

So this is the direction they're going in now then? It looks like they're not even pretending to care any more. I guess that's it for Star Wars then. Good bye my old friend.

And on the topic of Robot Chicken, the voice of Palpatine in this thing sounded very similar to his voice in that show. Same guy?

Its being made by Seth Green. So no wonder there are Robot Chicken and Family Guy voices. And it still looks like shit.

And I didn't think it was possible to make the franchise even more kiddy after Clone Wars (yes I know that show got violence but the target audiences for that show are the kids)! Other than noticing that they got same VA's from the Robot Chicken to voice this, I don't care for this show.

Yes, that's Seth Macfarlane reprising his role as the Emperor. And there's Breckin Meyer as Boba Fett as well. Oh and there's Donald Faison as Gary the Stormtrooper. And of course, Seth Green is involved.

Makes you wonder, why didn't they just focus on making a Robot Chicken Star Wars Ep IV??

Star Wars parodies are so 90s/2000s.

Can't we all just move-on from Starwars? It's over and done with just like Mass Effect .

More info: Apparently everything that happens in it is canon. Canon people!

"None of this is making fun of Star Wars, but more jsut thinking about what the Star Wars version of life is like... George gave us authority that 'whatever you make up in this show is canon. The fans can deal with it.'"

Looks like Skywalker Ranch just got a new flame shield to protect it from the future raging fans.

This can only end terribly. I wonder if this doesn't settle down in a few months if Moviebob will have a say in this.

Seriously, I thought that by now, they just about did everything to milk the franchise.
Never underestimate George Lucas.

Only one bit of this got a small chuckle out of me: The exchange between Obi-Wan and Qui Gon Jin and the words "GO HAUNT YODA!". Everything else just...urgh....

The worst part of this isn't even that it's being made Canon (Seeing as how Star Wars Expanded universe is looser then a $1 whore and in desperate need of a purge), the art style or even that they're milking this dead horse despite it being nothing but a fine decomposed powder at this point even more. No the worst part is that all of these jokes (Bar maybe the one i mentioned before that got a small chuckle out of me) have been done before and have been done far far FAR Better by other shows.

If you want a good parody go look at the Robot Chicken star wars, or even better: Go watch Space-Balls! Seriously, old as that movie is it is utterly hilarious and it's arguably more of a star wars parody then this.

Has Fox bought out LucasArts now? Im getting the sense that this is what comes of the unholy union between Star Wars, Family Guy writers and 3D animation then salted with "appeal to younger audiences".

Needless to say now, i hope it fails. If Lucas cant think to do anything other than parody his own work then thats the biggest sign you could get that its time to permanently retire.

There were only a few not so terrible jokes. It's really not funny. And Seth Green is involved in this? But Robot Chicken Star Wars Special was incredible.

Just look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F1d3QWsyk0

So um, *raises flame shield* I like it. I got a good laugh out of it and the art style is very funky.

Kind of weird to see Lucasarts make something as dark and gritty as Star Wars 1313 and then make something as corny as this. Some would say it shows a certain diversity, I think this is unnecessary. As was mentioned before, this has been done before; Spaceballs, Family Guy and Robot Chicken all have spoofed Star Wars very well.
