Star Wars Fan Film: they keep getting better at this.

That's what I think but I'm not sure if that's the consensus. I'd say it's a lot more popular to pick on Last Jedi but it's questionable how much of that is sincere and how much of it is just the movie being intrumentalized to push a political agenda.

I hate it when people use their political agenda, either for or against movie, just to push an opinion. We got a backlash so huge, that actual sane fans or people didn't like the film with good reason to come in and say "that is not us or that is not the entire fandom". As much as I like Star Wars, it's always been style over substance, even back then. Also, this is partially why I've been casual fan. Before some of you start I never gave two shits about any of the novels before Disney tossed them in to the non-canon dumpster.

The Last Jedi is good. Better than Force Awakens, which I did enjoy, but LJ has flaws like any other SW film. My main problem being HOLDO (demonic voice)! That ***** had no excuse not say anything, until the last minute about an evac plan. I don't blame Poe for freaking out and mutiny. Most people would have done the same thing. There would be many commanding officers, fictional or real life, would call her out on her pride and stupidity. I despise HOLDO (demonic voice), more than Jar Jar himself. Yeah, I do not care what I said.

The part with the casino didn't bother me that much, and actually goes by pretty fast, so I don't know what other people are talking about.

I will tell you this, once episode 9 comes out, I'm done with Star Wars. Completely done. I don't care for whatever spin-offs or next set of movies. I barely kept up with Clone Wars (the 3d one) and Rebels. Honestly, I fee like there is nothing left for me there. I don't regret the fun I had with the franchise, but I do not see myself looking at more SW properties in the future.

I'm afraid to watch it. I find fan films incredibly cringeworthy and I can't take the cringe.

I tend to find that fans want just s repeat of whatevers already been shown. This sounds no different

I think most people can agree that The Last Jedi was not a normal Star Wars movie. I think that's great. Rehashing is terrible. But fans like Force Awakens more becuase its the exact same movie they liked. But I hated it.

I watch this fan made series if someone displays how this is different from normal Star Wars

I'd say there was a half of a good movie buried in TLJ.

That might be giving it too much credit.

But that wasn't my point. It's better than Force Awakens which completely turned me off Star Wars
