Are you a masochist? You know your adoring fans of the original won't like it already. I understand how you own the rights to market Star Wars however you please, but show a little restraint and integrity like Gene Roddenberry did ffs.

Oh yeah .. and I thought you could only manage true 3D whilst your actually filming? Don't they have to use some fancy-schmancy lens work when capturing people on screen in 3D? Otherewise we'll end up with 2d chaacters and 3d environments and that will probably rape people's eyes and stomachs.

3D tech is quite advanced these days, maybe it will turn out for the best.

Excuse me for being ignorant, but I thought proper 3d as in what's being pumped out right was only possible whilst you are actually shooting. I understand you can make 3D environments on computers but won't the characters look 2D? 2D characters in a 3D perceivable space ... am I wrong in thinking that will make people sick? <.<
