Star wars: How would you change it?

I'd relabel A New Hope as "Episode 1" and leave it at those three movies.

Have episode I begin with an assasination that allow Palpatine to begin his rise to power. Have the assasin be Mandilorain or something to bring Boba Fett in as early as possible.

Remove the Expanded Universe Stuff that that takes place more than 5 years after Return of the Jedi.

Make more movies based on the good expanded universe stuff like "Shadows of the Empire" but have them all be CGI Cartoons like Clone Wars. That way you can bring back old characters without hiring the old actors. Also, all the chacters would be CGI so the bad CGI won't take anyone out of them films.

I'd dump the entire franchise into the public domain and say "Don't like something about Star Wars? Fix it yourself. Be my guest."

I think the current "the Clone Wars" cartoon is moving in the right direction as to what the prequels could've been, most importantly you get a competent and likeable Anakin. It also has the worst qualities of both the EU, the prequels, and Lucas meddling though. If you basically kept the tone of "the Clone Wars," focused on some characters other than Skywalker related ones, avoided politics like the plague, and respected the fans more (by not shitting over established canon), the Clone Wars could be so much better.

I'd go one step further, let's make Jar Jar the main character of the prequels and a jedi in episodes 2 & 3 too. The fan-boys will love it right?

You know everything everyone hates about Star Wars? I'd put in more of that. I'm so sick of complaining about Star Wars at this point, I'd rather just laugh at the rage of others...

I would release the original trilogy, as is, not the special edition, on blue-ray and dvd. After that, I would put this franchise to rest forever. The Star Wars franchise sucks. Not just the prequels, but the universe itself, the whole setting makes less sense the more it's expanded upon.

I would like to live in a universe where the first 3 movies were the only movies to have existed.

Erase the prequels from history, and make movies out of the Timothy Zahn trilogy.

Then maybe re-do the prequels, but with Spielberg directing, a shortened pod race, no midichlorians, and no Hayden Christensen. Hell compared to him, even Jar Jar can stay. Maybe tone down his silliness. To be honest I see him as sort of a C-3PO surrogate for the first movie...
