The Clone Wars were the most devastating conflict the galaxy had seen in centuries. Over the course of four years countless beings from countless races were slaughtered for what amounted to little more than trivial disputes allowed to boil over by an incompetent Senate. Planets were desolated, continents swallowed by orbital bombardment. Hundreds of billions were killed in the fighting while trillions were displaced.

In the end it was all for nothing, the men and women who had fought for the stability of the Republic were betrayed while those who had fought for liberation in the Confederacy of Independent Systems were defeated and crushed under the jackboots of Stormtroopers. The Chancellor declared himself Emperor to near-unanimous approval from the Senate while the Jedi were demonized and wiped out.

As a result of this, many were left with nothing. Soldiers of the Republic and Confederacy alike found themselves without a cause they could pledge themselves to and wandered aimlessly, many falling into small, extremist rebel organizations, while others turned to crime. Their reasons for this were as myriad as the people themselves - some sought a petty revenge against those that had betrayed them, while others simply sought credits.

One such criminal was Shana Kovane, a former Confederate soldier. She came into possession of Kestryl, a Barloz-class freighter - not a pretty ship, but it had potential. Get a crew and find some work, keep out of the control of the Empire. Keep flying.

Alright, I didn't list this above because it would break the flow of the basic narrative, but here's some basic stuff about the plot - takes place in 14 BBY, a few years after the end of the Clone Wars and the height of the Empire, but before the Rebellion has really gotten into full swing.

And yes, this is basically Firefly in Star Wars.

As stated above, the crew of Kestryl are criminals. This RP will essentially be episodic, relatively short arcs where the crew deals with a problem - this might be anything from breaking into the home of an Imperial official to rob him blind to fleeing a pursuing Star Destroyer.
And yes, you have to play a member of Kestryl's crew.

The Kestryl is a Barloz-Class Freighter. It's pretty much stock at this point, the only modifications being smuggling compartments with some low-grade shields on them, hidden under floor plates in the machine shop. Reference to the deck plan here: Barloz-Class deck plan [http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/9/90/Barloz-class_freighter_TCWCG.jpg]
There are a lot of problems with the way people write sheets, a few things to bear in mind:
One, an RP is an ensemble, you should try to contribute to the story and not dominate it. Nobody is the central character of this - while Shana is the leader of the crew, she is not the hero. Everyone has their place and will have their chances to shine.

Two, characters should be interesting and distinctive. Characters that are useless or boring don't make for interesting stories. I understand the urge to avoid writing a Mary Sue, but going too far in the opposite direction leaves a character just as obnoxious.
Three, don't be afraid to go a little too far on your sheet. It's far easier to scale a character back than it is to make a boring, useless character interesting and useful.

And a final note - if you want to make a River Tam-style character - and you know what I mean - or otherwise a character that has super abilities and/or force powers, PM me. I'm not going to say a flat no because this is Star Wars, but we're going to need to discuss it. Don't be afraid to, I won't bite.
Also, please remember to bracket your sheets with spoiler tags.

Name:

Age:

Species: If you so desire, I will allow non-canon species. There are millions of sentient races in the Galaxy. However, if you do make up a new species, I expect a basic rundown of them included in your sheet. Doesn't have to be huge, but I do want to know some stuff about them other than their name. Also note that I don't want to see races that are from other sources and if they're just Human with weird skin colors...there are like eight of those in Star Wars already. Pick one.

Gender:

Appearance: Pictures are allowed as references, but I also want textual descriptions. And put any pictures under spoilers.

Personality:

Skills:

Possessions: Pictures are allowed as references, put them under spoilers.

History:
Name: Shana Kovane (In Rylothean, Shanako'vane

Age: 35

Species: Twi'lek

Gender: Female

Appearance: Shana isn't what most people have in mind when they think of a Twi'lek female - she's tall at 5'11, and is broad-shouldered and sturdy, with muscle cording her frame. She's brown-skinned and has a hard, weatherworn face, with a huge scar along her cheek, with deep craters in the flesh. She dresses in hard-wearing clothes, usually browns and dark reds. Off ship she throws a heavy, ankle-length brown coat, concealing her weapons and other gear. On her left shoulder is a tattoo with the symbol of the 93rd Jabiim Rifles, a Kath Hound gripping a blaster rifle in its maw, with '93rd' underneath.

Personality: Shana is a deeply idealistic person, but that idealism is buried under layers of cynicism. The experience of not only having her nation defeated and wiped out of existence after four years of terrible bloodshed but then seeing the nation that destroyed them embrace totalitarianism and fascism almost with open arms has left her deeply jaded and angry. Despite this, she's fiercely loyal to her crew and when it comes to business is a consummate professional, not letting her anger get in the way of her profit.

Skills: Shana's reasonably good with most types of blasters, particularly favoring carbines and similar mid-size weapons. She's quite skilled in hand to hand combat with bare hands and vibroblades, and is an extremely dirty fighter, doing whatever it takes to survive and win a fight. She has an excellent breadth of knowledge in general - while she's not great at many of the things she knows how to do, she can dress a wound, fly the ship, or fix up the fuel lines.

While her work may not be as efficient or effective as someone more focused, she can at least manage not to fuck it up most of the time.

Possessions: Besides being the nominal owner of the Kestryl, Shana personally carries a DL-44 blaster pistol and a small vibroknife at all times, and a suit of plasteel combat armor kept in the cargo bay, painted in jungle colors.

History: Born to Twi'lek settlers on the world of Jabiim, Shana spent most of her adolescence fighting against the Trandoshan raiders who plagued the world, joining the planet's defense forces soon after her twentieth birthday and gaining a reputation for being a very angry, very competent fighter with a passionate Anti-Republic streak for their refusal to lend any assistance to Jabiim's plight.

When the Clone Wars broke out, Shana was on the front lines of the many battles on Jabiim, fighting against Republic invasions for nearly the entire war, only further exacerbating her hate for the Republic - they had refused to offer assistance once, but now that Jabiim sought to be free of them the Republic would commit such power to keep them in?

And in the end it was all for nothing. The Confederacy was crushed, their leadership killed and their armies forcibly disbanded. Every friend and comrade slain by the Republic, every village and town desolated by turbolaser fire, it was all for nothing. Worse than nothing as the corrupt but Democratic Republic was twisted into the totalitarian Empire.

Unwilling to continue under the bootheel of the Imperial occupation, Shana made her way off Jabiim. For the next several years she wandered the galaxy, working as a mercenary for various groups - Hutts, Black Sun, petty rebels - until she managed to scrounge the money to purchase Kestryl. Soon after she began gathering crew, forming her own small organization while continuing to pull jobs of various description from anti-Imperial groups.

I can't get a sheet up right now, but I just wanted to express my interest in this RP. You picked a cool time period, and the idea of flying around the galaxy dodging the law really appeals to me. I've got a character in mind already so I'll try to post a sheet tomorrow.

Ouch Prince, you cut me real deep there. Does our friendship mean nothing to you? ;)

Well, just to show there's no hard feelings I'll put up a sheet up soon. I'm thinking 7 lightsabers, do you think that's enough?

Name: Ian Galam

Age:28

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Appearance: Ian wears his brown hair short and has green eyes perched atop his 6' body. His causal attire consists of a t-skirt and pair of jeans under a leather jacket. When anticipating battle, he wears a light combat suit and a helmet with a visor. He always carries his blaster pistol with him, holstered on his left hip.

Minus the backpack.

Personality: Before all else, Ian is a professional. He takes his work very seriously, what ever that work may be. In casual circumstances, Ian is very friendly and is known to go out of his way to please others, a trait that has earned him many friends throughout Hutt Space. He's also very possessive of his speeder bike; he views it as almost an extension of himself.

Skills: Speeder bike pilot, mechanic, and small arms. He's had an affinity with swoops from a young age, and being an outlaw forces you to learn how to use a gun.

Possessions: Modified BARC speeder bike, BC434 Blaster Pistol, DC17m Blaster Carbine, leather jacket.

History:
Ian Galam was born to a farmer's family on Teardrop in 42 BBY. As a child, Ian worked on his parent's farm to help support the family. When he was 8, he found a broken and battered speeder bike in the local scrap shop. The owner let him buy it for a handful of credits, and Ian set about fixing the bike. Every day after work, he would walk into his garage to tinker with the bike and not come out until the next morning. When Ian finally got the bike running again, he showed it off to his friends who suggested he enter a race. He did, and managed to place in the top three. The other, much older racers chalked it up to beginners luck, but they soon had to recognize Ian's skill as he started winning race after race. He used the money he earned to buy better bikes and improve the ones he had. By his 16th birthday, Ian was known as one of the best swoop racers on Teardrop.

Despite this fame, Ian wanted nothing more than to get off Teardrop and see the galaxy beyond. An opportunity came when the Clone Wars broke out. A wealth Zeltron from Herdessa arrived, searching for volunteers to help defend his world. Upon hearing the news, Ian jumped at the chance to see a new world and enlisted immediately. At 20 years old, Ian Galam left his home world for the first time.

Ian's ship, carrying the rest of the volunteer group, came out of hyperspace in the middle of the First Battle of Herdessa. The ship touched down immediately and the troops aboard, including Ian, were ordered into battle. Ian hide behind a slab of rock as his comrades were pounded by Confederate artillery; the Republic was losing, and badly. But when he spotted a discarded BARC speeder, Ian saw his chance. He mounted the unfamiliar bike and charged into the CIS line. With the clones and planetary guards covering him, he broke through the droid's line and disabled several anti-air and artillery positions. This gave the Republic air support the opening it needed, and the next few hours saw the CIS's demise. A wounded Ian was decorated by the Republic for his actions. He went on to form the 23rd Volunteer Swoop Regiment, one of the most decorated volunteer units of the war. The heroics of the 23rd VSR saved the planet from Confederate control on several occasions and earned the respect and admiration of Herdessa's population many times over.

When Palpatine formed the Galactic Empire and killed off the Jedi, Ian felt betrayed by the "democracy" he had risked so much to defend. He was quick to join a resistance movement on Herdessa, but with in months they had to face the fact that the Empire would take control of the planet one way or another. The resistance organised an evacuation, and the men and women of the 23rd VSR were forced to abandon the world they had come to call home.

Once out of reach of the Empire, members of the organization drifted apart and went their separate ways. Ian fled to Hutt space, were he's been working as a bounty hunter and mercenary for the last 5 years. He's been very careful to keep a low profile, lest the Empire track him down. Even so, he is well traveled in Hutt Space and has many contacts on worlds under Nal Hutta's influence. He's never taken a contract from the Empire or one he feels isn't completely just. Most of the time he's worked solo, sometimes in a group, but either way he's never stayed in one place for very long. Recently, he's been craving more permanent companionship, so when he heard a Twi'lek on Nar Shadda was putting together a crew, he got on the first transport to the Y'toub system.
I'll post the history section once I've done a bit more research, but there's the majority of the sheet. Please let me know if I should change anything.

Edit: Finished the history and changed the personality section along with a few of the pictures. Once again, I'm open for criticism.

What? A section specifically about no boring characters in your Star Wars RP and it's not directed at me? Ah well, enough reminiscing; here's a real character.

Name: Hinek Sen'elas

Age: 32

Species: Bothan

Gender: Male

Appearance: Hinek is tall for a Bothan, standing almost 1.6 meters (about 5'2") tall; however, what's more surprising is that unlike others of his race almost everything under his fur is pure muscle though it doesn't seem like it from a distance. Hinek's fur is still brown, though it's slightly tinged with grey flecks around the eyes and at the base of his beard. While Hinek's beard is only moderate in length he has cut back his cheek hair rather dramatically. Hinek's right ear has been very obviously cut away about halfway down from the point, though the would is clearly very old and long healed over. Hinek dresses mostly in tan and black leathers along with a brown vest. All of his clothing contain a wealth of collapsible pockets and hidden spaces.

Personality: Hinek is extremely silent at nearly all times, always using as few words as possible to communicate vital information and never talking about his history. Even beyond his lack of speech Hinek is often detached and rarely projects strong outward emotions having been trained to keep them inside. Hinek is rather cagey and tense at most times, constantly checking for threats; he also often can't help but categorize everyone and everything around him as resources, a habit that he personally doesn't like but can't seem to help. Hinek doesn't care at all about politics, but always keeps his personal word.

Hinek doesn't quite know why, but family scenes make him uncomfortable. He also enjoys reading spy fiction in his spare time, he likes cataloging the inaccuracies. Though it isn't obvious, the one thing that Hinek values above all else is his self-determination.

Skills: Hinek is obviously skilled at stealth and infiltration as well as counterespionage though he is hardly the best. More surprisingly, he is exceptionally skilled at hand to hand combat both armed and unarmed (he's also completely willing to use the stereotypes of his race to his advantage). Hinek has a small amount of technical skill, though he's much better at sabotage then repair. Hinek is also a decent shot with a gun though he's not very good at all when it comes to distance shooting. Hinek is also highly athletic and skilled at slight of paw.

Possessions: Mer-Soon "Power" 5 heavy blaster pistol, Tenloss DX-2 Disrupter Pistol, Custom constructed collapsible projectile pistol, Prax Arms Protector PRP-502 Hold-out Shooter, Czerka Vibroknuckler, Merr-Sonn Stun Baton, Sensor Tags

History: Hinek was born on Bothawui, but his upbringing was far from normal. Hinek's father was a social scientist of sorts and decided to use his own son as a subject. Rather then teach him the normal Bothan values of acquiring power for one's self and clan, he tried to set himself up as a practical deity figure and train his son to be a dedicated agent hunter. His methods were harsh and at the age of 20 Hinek eventually rebelled and escaped.

Hinek traveled the galaxy doing odd jobs, sometimes espionage sometimes not, and building himself up more practically. When the Clone Wars broke out Hinek mostly kept his head down, only doing a few jobs for various bit players. After the war Hinek had a fateful encounter with Shana Kovane when they were both trying to rob the same place. They formed an alliance of convenience and later Hinek decided to join Shana's crew on a permanent basis.

Name: Kao Zan Tod
Age: 35
Species: Zabrak
Gender: Male

Appearance: Kao is tall at 182 cm powerfully built, weighting about 95 kg. His pale brown skin is marked with the scars of someone who has seen much fighting, while striking black tattoos on his face offset brilliant green eyes. His clothing consists of a green waist-length jacket, over a grey long sleeved shirt, black utility trousers with thigh pockets, and brown calf-height boots.

Personality: Friendly enough, he generally keeps to himself so he doesn't have to risk any questions about himself. Between the anger he still feels over the betrayal of the Jedi and the deaths of his friends, the conflict within himself between what he was taught in the Order, and what he's done to survive, he is deeply troubled. To quell the doubts, anger and fears that haunt him he drinks, but that only helps for a while.

Skills: While a fair mechanic and marksman, Kao's true talent is as a starship pilot.

Possessions:
Worn in a shoulder holster on his left side
Usually carried on a sling over his right shoulder
Sheathed in his right boot

History: Kao was born on Coruscant, and as an infant was found to have a strong connection to the Force. Raised at the Jedi Temple, early on Kao showed great affinity and skill in the more physical and 'hand-on' training aspects, but little patience or interest in the more mental ones.

Unfortunately for him, when it came time for his Trial, his lack of focus on the more mental aspects of his training cost him the chance to advance to the rank of Padawan. Instead, after initially being very disheartened, he decided to join the Exploration Corps of the Jedi Service Order.

For Kao, the ExplorCorps was a great boon. There he was able to truly hone his connection to the Force into making him a better shiphandler, letting him helm a vessel almost like it was a living thing. As the Clone Wars opened, and the veteran Navy personnel transferred back to the Navy, he was promoted to Chief Navigator and allowed to helm one of the Corps prized Corellian Colonizer ships, the Silikan Stillness.

While the war raged, the ExplorCorps was used as a pathfinder group, mapping new hyperspace routes for the Navy to use to try and out maneuver the CIS fleets. Kao earned several accolades, and much praise, flying the large vessel through previously uncharted stellar phenomenon, and dodging CIS attacks.

As the war was drawing to a close, the Silikan Stillness returned to Coruscant for some minor repairs and to take on supplies, before heading back out on another mission. Kao was returning to the Stillness when Order 66 was given, all of a sudden finding his airspeeder being chased by a pair of ARC-170 fighters. While they were faster and more importantly armed, in the densely packed skies of the city, his speeder was far more maneuverable.

Twisting, turning, and diving through the skies, he did his best to keep clear of the fighters, but he knew it would only be a matter of time before they got him. Forcing them to break off as he rushed head long into oncoming traffic, he made a desperate move. Swinging hard around he pulled alongside an automated cargo hauler, before setting the speeders auto-pilot and jumping off. From his hidden perch he watched as his speeder 'tried' to make a mad dash for freedom, seconds before it was torn to shreds by cannon fire from the 170s. The clones must have believed he was dead, because as soon as the speeder exploded they peeled off, back towards the Jedi Temple, and out of sight.

Between the attack and the smoke he saw rising from the Jedi Temple in the distance, Kao realized that the Jedi where being targeted and that he was in extreme danger. After ditching his Corps uniform and 'acquiring' some new gear, he made his way to the Undercity looking for a place to hide, and to start over. At first adapting to his new life was hard; much of what he'd learned at the Temple and in the Corps was of little value down here, and in some cases, it might even get himself killed.

Eventually accepting what had to be done, he began selling his services as a pilot or hired muscle to the various criminal organizations on the planet. Out of necessity he also began to train himself how to use blasters, though he's never felt quite at home with them.

After a few years, and developing a bit of a reputation, he made his way off world in an attempt to put his past behind him. While looking for work on Nar Shaddaa he encountered Shana Kovane, but upon finding out she was a former CIS soldier he declined her job offer, signing on with another ship. After three months, two deals that went sideways, and his employer trying to burn him on his payment, Kao returned to Nar Shaddaa. Finding the Shana was there once again as well, he asked if she was still looking to hire.

Alright, I think I can safely say I'll accept the three of you. I'd like to get at least two more, though. Right now we'd be a pretty shorthanded mercenary crew.

Greetings, I have experience in a Star Wars RP, even one in which the crew was very Firefly-ish, so it's funny. Hope this all works out, as I will be attempting to reprise the role of...

Name: Sirus McLaylen

Age: 25

Species: Human being

Gender: Male

Appearance: Black-haired human being, a bit pale of skin. Said hair is semi-short and well-kept at least. His eyes are dark brown and he has a bit of a glare at times, as one of his more common expressions is that of a dour look, like he's annoyed or feeling inconvenienced, or actually angry and not wanting to show the severity of it. This is not to say that he always looks this way, but there is alot on his mind, clearly. He is fairly handsome, nose slopping a bit sharply, and there is an air about him that says he could have done better in life if not for a certain moral highground in some ways.

He does seem a little on the slim side, like he might not always eat right, but his physique is not fragile. Bit of an athelete, in fact. More the running, jumping, and climbing and not so much the heavy lifting or uber-brawling sort of person. He's a man of finesse is what we're basically saying. His height is average and his poise is well-balanced, and he has a bit of a paranoid look about him, as though expecting trouble to start out at any moment.

Clothing... Sirus likes to wear black, dark blue, gray, desert clothing, and whatever's practical. Generally, this is not-really-stand-out stuff, which is the point of him in any situation unless he deems it otherwise necessary. But you will find him in dark clothing - shirt, pants, hiking boots, etc. - and carrying his own weight because a slacker is not he. He does not like heavy armor, but he will confess that he's been in trooper armor before, not as a soldier though...

Personality: A tried and true cynic. Not to be confused with a pessemist - who always expects bad things to happen - he notes the bad things that COULD happen and points them out so as to prevent the possible trouble of them later. It's simply the realist's view taken to the pragmatic conclusion. He is capable of a laugh, even amusement or style (Finesse character, remember?) or surprise...but it's just that he has clearly been through some things and that weighs on him at times.

He is...rather secretive. It takes alot for him to talk about the past, and when he does, it'd be about another crew he had and some situations that happened...but not everything. It takes alot - ALOT - to get him to go into the things he does not want people to go into. So, there will be occasions of whatever it is he's up to, even if you're his friend, he will tell you that it's none of your business. And you might...feel a certain pressure on your skull telling you to listen to him.

Paranoid... Not overly-so, but enough that it can make him a bit too keen to act at times. He is...afraid that something will happen, or perhaps concerned is the better word. He also has interesting habits such as impromptu meddling with machinery, moving rather stealthfully, and the occasional practical joke.

Skills: Sirus is entirely average at blasters, to which he keeps one as an option, not as a primary means of defense. Instead, he is quite capable in close-quarters situations, quick with a block or a dodge or something quick and slight-of-hand-ish. Since he's not epically strong, this means more of a fighting art than a muscle battle. Nevertheless, his best fighting skill is with knives and other melee weapons. He has enough computer skill to be savvy, but not as a tech expert. One place he shines well enough in is mechanical work, fixing or sabotaging things. Also...

The Force. Not an expert, but enough that his instincts/intuition are sharp, he can move small objects quickly or heavier objects slowly, sometimes even affect minds, and there were a few times in the past where he used lightning out of desperation.

Possessions: Personal datapad, survival kit, tool kit, grapple gun, heavy blaster, a few grenades, vibro knife, desert clothing for hostile worlds, low-profile armor-vest for hiding under his shirt, and...

Inquisitor's Double Light-Saber [http://wikicheats.gametrailers.com/images/3/33/SithInquisitorSaber.jpg] - "It's not what you think... This belonged to the man who trained me, and I'm not like him." This is explained in history, but the short-version here is that Sirus is in possession of a light-saber used for assassinations, and is fairly-adept in its use, though he will state that it was because he use to own a Force Pike. Since he tends to conceal himself to all, you know that both its use and the Force will not happen unless he deems it necessary.

History: The life and times of Sirus McLaylen...

The first thing to note was that Sirus does NOT talk about his past very much, so chances are the crew doesn't know HALF of this stuff. This is, however, full disclosure for your convenience. Enjoy.

There was a man who, in secret circles, was simply known to them as 'The Master'. The master of many, in fact. He was called so as a pseudonym because his powers to influence the mind were apparently second-to-none. Many were in his thrall and carefully altered to become...his assassins, his living knives. And he did so because he had used his power to quickly find force-sensitives and keep them out of the limelight that would deliver them to 'wrong places', places that were...not under his control. And so, many lived their lives in the shadows, their minds in shadow as his master's voice did keep them in check...mostly.

For as time went on and things became...difficult in space...the Master was forced to cut a few corners, sacrifice or abandon some so that the rest may flourish. His own private army of willing tools of aggression, you see. Among those left by the wayside...was Sirus McLaylen. He eventually came out of the influence and wondered what had become of it, of the man who trained him to fight and to kill. Hoping on a chance to discover the reason, to find this man, Sirus joined the crew of the No, Don't Put That There!, a vessel also sometimes called the Sally Forth with an...odd crew.

No sooner had he tried to, though, than things began to pick up. He and the others were attacked by a pair of assassins with light sabers! What was going on? There had been reports of Jedi being killed by the imfamous Order 66, so how exactly did this happen?! The answer...lay partially in their journeys, which involved picking up cargo in Empire-controlled ports and making off with it (almost) before anyone knew what happened, or robbing a galactic casino-ship...which is about to be robbed, or trying to remove a special 'item' from a secure Imperial lab which...contained an experimental HK.

What it boiled down to was this... They had been attacked here and there by people whom appeared to serve the Master, and Sirus needed to know who this man was, and in his group's attempts to find out why this man was after them - because he did not tell the crew about himself the whole damn time - they came upon a Jedi...who had escaped Order 66 and had remained hidden and sheltered among a growing rebellion badly in need of resources. It was here that he fully-understood his talent in the Force and received some training. Ultimately, not enough, as their next mission involved securing an old derelict vessel with an intact droid army on board...

That time was especially hard. It was a Trade Federation vessel with malfunctioning droids, and...there was an assassin on board, more powerful than the last ones. They took the ship and flushed the man out...but only after he had taken the Jedi's head. And all the time, the assassins had been cryptically spelling out his doom if he met the Master, including the Zabrak they'd just met. This put them on the side of the rebellion, technically, and they were asked to find more information on a man gathering forces, already commanding a few capital ships himself with quite a few subbordinates.

They were asked to infiltrate an Imperial data archive to learn more information, and that was where Sirus learned all that he could about 'The Master'. Zaras Renn, a delightfully-sadistic man who was an inquisitor of the empire, using his influence to gather men onto his side...including a seasoned general and a dark turncoat of a Jedi. To make matters worse, then they later met Zaras in person, he didn't even recognize Sirus. He was just one among many, and of the numbers who were out of his influence to escape the purging from his ranks. The man was running his own academy!

Well, not for LONG...because now this group was getting a few ships together to attack Zaras' facility and take down his ships. The crew of the No, Don't Put That There! was apart of the fight, as their captain had been a former Republic pilot with significant war-time experience. They mmanaged to storm the academy and push aside underskilled force-sensitives, all to find Zaras Renn...dead. In typical Sith behavior, the man had been killed by his lofty-goaled-but-short-sighted apprentice, the Zabrak assassin whom they had met before.

To make an already-too-long story short, the Zabrak was put down for great justice and Sirus left the group after claiming Zaras' personal files - with a list of his underlings unaccounted for - and his light saber. And there, he wandered until...here! It's been a few years and he hasn't actually changed much. Perhaps a little more responsible, but he is, as always, a man walking a tight rope in life

I'm going to have to say no to that character, FalloutJack. I specifically say to PM me to clear it before you play a Force-Sensitive character. Strip the lightsaber and the Force powers from him and he's perfectly fine, though.

Name: Hektorr

Gender: Male

Age: 36

Appearance: Even for a wookiee Hektorr is big and imposing, standing at 2.3 meters and weighing 170 kilograms. A layer of thick black fur coats his huge body, which itself is covered by battered and dented plasteel armor plates, several of which have deep gouges and scratches. Slung on webbing from his armor hangs his bowcaster, while a pair of Ryyk Blades are sheathed on his back.

Equipment: A bowcaster, modified with binocular optics and a retractable bayonet under the business end. A pair of curved Ryyk blades. Piecemeal armor.
Ship Position: Co-Pilot and/or Navigator

Race: Wookiee

Homeworld: Kashyyyk

Background: Born on Kashyyyk in the days of the Old Republic, Hektorr spent his youth under the thumb of the Galactic Empire as thousands of his people were rounded up as slaves. During his childhood he joined one of the many resistance groups on the planet and began to fight against the Empire, blowing up landing platforms, sabotaging ships, and slaughtering patrols of stormtroopers.
During one attack Hektorr's bloodlust overwhelmed him and he attacked the stormtroopers with his claws, slashing them to ribbons, slaughtering them in a frenzy, permanently branding him as a Madclaw to the other Wookiees, an unacceptable crime even in warfare. He was abandoned by his comrades, and eventually captured by Imperials, who attempted to take him to be enslaved.
Unfortunately for the Imperials they underestimated the huge adolescent Wookiee's strength, and he soon broke free of their restraints and slaughtered them before stealing their craft. With no place among his people, he took the stolen shuttle and fled Kashyyyk. For many years, Hektorr wandered the galaxy.
Four years ago, after years of merc work, enforcing, and killing Imperials he encountered a woman in a cantina on Abregado-Rae, Shana Kovane, who offered him work on The Kestryl. He accepted.

Yes, this is pretty much the Wookiee I submitted in the Outer Rim Task Force thread. But a Wookiee's a Wookiee, and I pretty much just want to make a Mad-Claw character. Either way, everything fits each RP, so there shouldn't be a problem.

I hear you. The characters I've submitted for both games are thematically the same. I guess I just reeeeeeeally want to play as a speeder biker.

[Spoiler = Cedric Drax]
Name: Cedric Drax

Age: 32

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Appearance: Cedric stands at 6'2 with a standard build, he is not very heavy. He has neatly arranged short brown hair and occasionally sports a short beard but at this moment in time is clean shaven. All helping to maintain the image of the gentleman.

Personality: Cedric likes to think of himself as the "Gentleman Scoundrel" well spoken and courteous. However this has nothing to do with his background. Instead Cedric has learned that compliments and manners get you places threats and an air of ignorance can't. Where once he was cocky he is now cautious. Years of close encounters have taught him that caution is not cowardice. His persuasive nature makes him want to have lots of friends and he is especially friendly with the ladies that catch his eye, though past experiences have taught him caution is preferable in this field too. He is smuggling mostly since he can't seem to do anything else and feels like life is too short to start again.

Skills: He is very handy with a blaster rifle, Shooting things is a very useful skill for a smuggler, or at least one who gets caught now and then. He can be stealthy when he wants to be but nothing like the Bothan agents. He is persuasive however, being able to bluff and charm his way into places he would otherwise not be able to reach. He is a skilled hacker, able to slice into systems and find shipping manifests, security plans, access codes and military plans. Or able to disable systems and and open locked doors. He knows the hyperspace routes well and has a good working knowledge of most common stops along the way.

Possessions: Cedric owns an Imperial Blaster Rifle, purchased off the black market. He also owns a personal suit of clothing crossed with armour, consisting of individual pieces of armour so as not to reduce mobility. He owns an exoskeleton arm and leg armour. The leg armour has a built in jet pack though Cedric finds it hard to control occasionally. The arm armour helps steady his aim and adds weight to his punches. The left one also contains a blade the length of his forearm which is serrated, it allows Cedric to dig into and tear materials, it also works in combat but tends to be ... messy. To cover this Cedric wears a Corellian style jacket in classy blood red colour. Underlays protect his torso from minor impacts and he wears a hip holster for his rifle.

History: Being born on Corellia, Cedric Drax had originally been on a path to serving in the Navy in some capacity. Spending a lot of time around ships and technology turned Cedric into one more comfortable the more technology surrounded him. He has taken care to destroy records of himself from Imperial archives to protect his family.

After taking an interest in acquiring new and exciting technology from several not so legal sources, Cedric was caught dealing with a black market trader. Rather than face charges he joined the trader in making an escape and found the smuggler life suited him. Initially cocky and viewing odds as something to overcome as a challenge (as is the Corellian way) time spent on other worlds and with other cultures has soured this view and Cedric now sees it as a dangerous way to think.

Moving through various smuggling operations, Cedric found employment as a hacker for several smuggling crews, gaining a knowledge of tricks of the trade. Since then he has joined the Kestryl and hopes this job may be more permanent that previous examples. Since passing age 30 Drax is feeling like he would want to gain some constants in his life. Jace, Athol is already playing ship's pilot, and Blue Shotgun is serving as ground pilot. Do you mind changing the piloting to something else? Slicing, maybe?

Altered it, thanks for the heads up. Wouldn't want arguments over who gets to sit in what chair.

Despite LeftHand's questionable traits - he's a deviant, and he smells kind of like old cheese - I'm going to let him in.

Alright, I've got one other guy I think is making a sheet and after that goes up, Kestryl will launch.

Sounds good. By the way, thanks for accepting me. Now, let's look at our crew:

-The war vet turned biker mercenary.

-The alien stealth specialist.

-The wanted Force-sensitive pilot.

-The brutish Wookiee.

-And the tech savvy and suave smuggler.

Yep, this is Star Wars alright.
