Robert Jordans (May He Rest in Peace) Wheel of Time.
the series will be drawing to a close this year and they have already begun a comic book for the first book. they butchered a game a while back but a game and/or Series that was well done could be fantastic
that or an action/adventure game on the Night Angel Series (Epic Trilogy Check it out http://www.brentweeks.com/)

Ah My mistake I think they originally planned to release a few months apart but now its over a 2 year period. suits me I can read them all all over again before the last one arrives!
You have chosen, or been chosen, to bite my shiny metal ass.
Kidding, of course. The whole thing is a varriation of Dr. Breen's City 17 welcome, from Half-Life 2. Also, the official Escapist welcoming message. The one you use, while common, is the less formal, unofficial one.
What was wrong with Sting as a sybaritic, atavistic psychopath, bent on controlling the most ecologically, socially and morally deplorable household in a universe portrayed as a fascist monarchy? WORSHIP HIM! At least there's no suspicion that he got neked and freaky with Mick Jagger.
On Topic: I'm almost afraid to say it, but I could see Wheel of Time being tapped as fodder for a series of movies. I could also imagine anything by David and Leigh Eddings, most of the R.A. Salvatore books, and a lot of Simon R. Green's stuff being potential movie inspiration.
Honestly, I wouldn't object to seeing the Ender books (by Orson Scott Card), Deathstalker (Simon R. Green) or something by Robert J. Saywer done. I'd also love to see some part of the Aldenata series by John Ringo, or the Marduk books he did with Eric Weber. Unfortunately, we all know that when books get turned into movies the translation rarely satisfies the original fanbase.
