Did you even get your hands on the full version? I mean if've you've played the demo and you don't like it that doesn't mean ALL the AI are going to be dumb, somehow game pro got a copy and they said the AI gets harder and becomes immune to some of your force powers. Oh and BTW EVERYONE for wii theres 3 diffrent ways to swing the wiimote and 3 different outcomes depending on the way you swing it + shaking the nunchuk to pond enemies into the ground+ dual mode + killing jedi, wookies, etc + the story = PURE AWSOMENESS (you can see this from my link go to media center and web docs and wii version)

RE wiffel bat

of course it wouldn't be that srong. REALISM and GAME BALANCE are entirely on the opposite ends of the spectrum most of the time, if you could 1 slice chop dudes in half it really wouldn't make the entire game exciting would it? if in Halo multiplayer you get killed once and you didn't respawn it would hardly be fun now would it? if realism was a guiding factor in Soul Calibur Apprentice/yoda would instant kill = no fun.

yes this is half of the plot, troll through gamespot it leaks the first half the story which is pretty dam obvious anyway.

.... complaints about quicktime event....
honestly it isn't a quicktime event when its that dam slow, the button combination literally gives you plenty of time, you can easily look up see the combination, look down at the control pad for the button, push it, and look up to see my next command. the only reason you should miss it is because you didn't expect to come up in the first place. either that or i've been playing way too many games when .1 of second can determine winning or losing. and i find it quit rewarding its a finisher for bosses instead of throwing the entire thing up to a cutscene, your actually doing it, and its probably better that its a quick time event instead of being forced to push a set of buttons for a huge combo like in a fighting game.

the targeting is abit jank, but you should be able to adapt to its controls anyway, like most games.

some nonsense about holding a lightsaber backwards on the first page i couldn't be bother going back over to quote
its called style, or rather being original, adding a new flavor to the game, thats and its pretty bad ass showing a more reckless attitude, and seeing as he flicks it around to an original style in most of his combos, it doesn't rule pull away from a traditional style.

anyways im still getting it for something to do, if it doesn't provide mindless fun, of to EB it goes.

The main problem with the game, it doesn't star Kyle Katarn. God I wish they would continue Jedi Knight already.
YOU ARE WIN.

Jedi Outcast is one of my favourite games, had a great story, best lightsaber combat in a game. I really don't know why they don't make more. Jedi Academy wasn't amazing, but it was still pretty good, and alot of fun to play as well. Main problem was that you weren't playing as Kyle. I know the 'light side' endings are the ones generally considered to be canon, but couldn't they have Kyle tracking down his wayward apprentice, hunting him through known space? Would be awesome.

I think this game is going to be a major disapointment, I'm not going to get my hopes u for the game the defines this generation. There are going to be two types of people on the day of it's release happy people with 50 quid and people despratly trying to convince themselves that that this is a good buy.

Not everyone has a Wii
and i was promised a nirvana like enlightenment upon playing this game by everyone and their
game developing grandmas and although good, even great was not anywhere near as good as the hype led me to belive

I have my own preorder copy waiting for me. This is going to be a great Christmas season between this and Fallout3.

The Wii versions amazing. I'm already sore from hacking and slashing and kicking serious butt.

I could see why people wouldn't buy it if they didn't have a wii.
