Star Wars the old Republic Error code NU2099

i got this code when i first tried to purchase cartel coins with a prepaid visa. I've never had problems with this stuff in other games, this is the first time i've run into this.

THe card is still good as I checked the website balance, and it has more than enough for the coin's cost but I'm curious if anyone else playing the game has run into this.

Any advice? Any ideas?

and more to the point, if the game is refusing to allow me to buy things in their game, basically telling me that they don't want my money; why should i bother trying to pay them?

please, help!

I'm experiencing the same problem.

Haven't come across any particularly useful suggestions thus far. Quite ridiculous that EA, of all companies, don't want our money.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Not trying to be a prick or anything, but wouldn't this question be better suited for the Support section of the game's official forums? You're far more likely to find someone who can help there. Perhaps even an in-game problem report, which might draw the attention of a GM or some other individual with actual authority beyond basic guesswork?
