After the recent release of The Force Unleashed, and being slightly disappointed by the length of it, I had to ask myself: which Star Wars game is the most successful one available to the market?
And I came to the conclusion that, of all the games, I find Star Wars Battlefront to be the most entertaining and the most playable. Yeah, it's difficult if you don't know what you're doing, and it can be hard to talk to some people on there (be it either down to not speaking another language, or just plain ignorance), but no game has ever got me to keep going back to it for just one more shot at a Jawa.
The game came out in 2001. We are now in 2008. I, like many other fans, still find myself drawn to it daily to blast the bejeezus out of some unsuspecting rebels. If a game can remain this popular after such a timespan, then that, to me at least, is a successful game.
Just look at Tetris.
(P.S. if anyone here is still playing it, and you fancy a game one day, just grab my Xfire user name from my profile and add me. I'm more than happy to play it with others
