starcraft 2 midnight launch

woo i got togo to brisbane's starcraft 2 midnight launch i was expecting alot of young nerds dressed as marines and kerrigan but was plesantly supprised there was alot of people but it was a lot of fun and got to see some new movie footage which just looks cool any way the reaspn why i start this thread was to see if anyone else was able to go to any of them midnight release things and to ask who else is happy about starcraft 2 now being out?

Lucky you Sadly, the nearest party from my location would've still been a 8 hour drive, so not really affordable for poor ol' me (don't start on flying there, it's equally expensive )

I'm excited about the game, sadly I suck at it ;_; still, I guess I'm gonna get it, if only for the campaign.

hehe, about 11-14 hours here in the U.S., depending on time zones.

And I can't stress enough how happy I am that I don't have to go to the midnight event. I'm not getting the game, I have no interest in it. But I work in games retail, and midnight launches are crazy. With this game it would be just insane.

And since it comes out tomorrow, which is also my birthday, I don't have to work or go to the event! Its just so awesome.

hmm doesn't matter how many hours till launch for me. I don't have the money to buy it anyway... (damn lack of jobs in this crap town I live in) so I don't think I'll be getting in for a few weeks.
