Not me.

EDIT: Otherwise a mod will be a dick, it's because RTS's don't really work on consoles, and it would have taken even longer to come out. And it might have made the PC version worse.

I do

mostly because I want more RTS's for consoles ( how I love my RTS <3 )

But, I've accepted that for the most part they just don't work on consoles ;_;

Well, the N64 version of Starcraft was pretty meh, so I'm going to say no, I'm glad it didn't come out on consoles.

Have we forgotten about Starcraft 64?

Ugh. I'm GLAD it's an exclusive.

EDIT: ninja'd. Damn.

Not me, it'd just make the release date further away and bog down the PC version with useless shit.

C&C: Tiberium Wars was fine on the Xbox 360. Though I never got a chance to play it online (before I had XBL, and before IT MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED)

Don't know 'bout Starcraft 2. The players would never be anywhere close to the PC ones.

Dude posting guidelines now! :D

I'm not a big fan of RTS' purely because I don't have the talent for them, but also RTS's absolutely need a mouse and keyboard, otherwise it feels "dumbed" down.

I must admit I find them fascinating to watch, its all that detail in mini form that astounds me, RTS games look like exquisite chocolate.

I don't think it could have hurt but it's not effecting me so I have no complaints. You should become a PC gamer anyway.

Too complicated + mouse and keyboard are the "rts tools". If u wanna see what rts turns into on the console check Halo Wars, god I regret paying for that, could have had more fun just by buying ice cream for all the money

I am Ok with this comparison..it feels..natural, both so sweet, and both so easy to mess up

too sweet..and it hurts your teeth, too bitter and it doesn't work, and if you add something new, it better be worth it (looking at you moving base command and conquer D:< )

Haha, its the reason I'm rubbish at them, I sit looking at the animations going "mmmmm yummy"

I spawn units that are prettier as opposed to what is tactically correct, then I lick the screen.

I remember playing Red Alert and my friends screaming at me to spawn Tesla Coils for defence as opposed to dogs, I was hoping to win the hearts of my two adversaries with cute doggies, a strategy that backfired since my opponents were cold hearted meanies, I managed to spawn a sub in a puddle which was awesome.

Those fiends!, how dare they refuse the dogs!

I do the same tactic.

I agree with that, im rubbish..'cos I build way too slow, I suppose we just aren't suited to RTS's oh woe is us

Not I.
RTS seem like a PC exclusive type of game.
More buttons on a keyboard than on a controller, just a better experience

I do the exact same thing. My feelings about things like base defence and unit placement are that aesthetics is more important than functinality. If it looks good, it's working. As well as that, I spend far too much time watching the battles, and not enough making more dudes to fight in them.

In the next StarCraft I hope for all our sake that we can spawn "white picket fencing", it'd really make our bases stand out, and hopefully with a dead bolt on the front gate our adversaries would find it difficult to enter, after all, it'd be locked from the inside.

KAPOW! take that Zergs!

I know you weren't playing against the English, we aren't the animal killing kind. There have been chaos brought the roads of england due to people slowing down for swans.

I would like to see if Blizzard can pull off a good console port of StarCraft 2.

I would guess that they did consider the option as the console market is generally more lucrative than PC platform.

I'm guessing that this is unlikely however as RTS's do not work well on consoles and I don't see Blizzard putting out a water-down port.

Somethings are better left on the PC.

Meh, it would be difficult to do. Starcraft is a very complex thing and dumbing it down for console controls would detract quite a bit from it. That my own personal opinion, however.
