Don't suppose there is any way to view a receipt from a game you already purchased awhile back?

I think you can on your account profile. Not sure exactly where though (I have a weird gimped version of steam)

Congrats on getting your account back. I find it extremely amusing that your friend became a pirate after being accused of being one. Bit of a "So they think I'm a pirate, huh? Oh, I'll be a pirate! I'll be a pirate like never before!"

My friend got banned from VAC because he hacked once for about 20 mins. I disowned him for awhile and was just happy he got caught. Only game he had on Steam was counter strike though, so a month later he bought it again.
Hasn't hacked since =]

I like the system, defiantly with the amount of games someone could lose by hacking.

I have a friend who had a similar thing happen to him when he was quite young and innocent. The result turned him into a pirate and he actually insists on pirating every game released ENTIRELY due to a false accusation of illegal activity.

That's possible the worst justification for pirating I have ever heard...

As for your problem I doubt your were banned for being "too good". More than likely its a mistake or your account was hijacked.

Weird, but if you are accused of cheating on CS, don't you only get banned from VAC?

VAC's an automated system, it would only ban you if there was something wrong in the code of your game, it's not connected to admin bans.

Good news... I took screens of all my receipts and sent them to steam. They decided it was a jacked account and returned it to me. I celebrated by spending money on valve games.

I just screened my email account and uploaded the photos. Not deleting any email ever is FTW.

Are you seriously suggesting that you were banned from Steam because you were just that good at Counter Strike? That is so sad it's not even funny.
