Don't get your hopes too high. The game isn't bad so to speak, but it isn't that great, either. The only gimmick I really liked is how you can quick-swap party members mid-battle, so you don't have to worry about encountering that physical-resistant monster while your magic users are back at base doing each others' nails.Sir Pootis said:

Yeah, Half Life 3 being on here just completely proves this isn't legit. Valve is never going to make Half Life 3 until they can figure out how to either include hats in it or make it into a MOBA game. And since clearly neither of those will work they might as well just drop the copyright on Half Life entirely and make Ricochet 2.

Well I can't really complaing, I mean I just bought BB Continuum Shift for reasons I still have yet to justify, online's kind of a ghost town and the story/characters have never really sold me... at all.
Also FFX and X-2? you know i never really got round to finishing a Final Fantasy game and that was the first one I ever played, maybe I'll go back to it... see if I can finish it.

the way this DB works is that games first get IDs and then as updates during developement go they eventually get named but stays internal for testing steam features. most games that almost got a release but got cancelled are sitting in the database. for example Dead Island 2, that was supposed to release in 2015 but the company developing it went tits up and publisher is left searching for a new developer to continue. there is a steam ID for it and you can even add it to your lists, but it will show up as a blank name and image thing in those lists because things havent been made properly yet. Id bet most of those were canceled releases or placeholders (especially HL3 as a placeholder)

I had a feeling we'd see FF X/X-2 on steam eventually, considering how Square-enix has been shoving all the other Final Fantasy games on there. I wouldn't be surprised to eventually see the FF 7 remake as well as Final Fantasy 15. My reasons for buying consoles anymore is very close to zero now.

Honestly, isn't that a goldmine idea some developer should be going for like ages ago? They should do it in Half-Life 3! That can be the great game changer like the Gravity Gun and then they'll end the legendary series on a high note.

I know it's become a joke at this point, but we all know that HL3 is coming sooner or later. And it would make sense to hear something about it soon(ish). Valve needs HL3. They're in the hardware business now. If they had a game like HL3 to bundle with Steam Machines or some other Valve idea, they're gonna do it.
