I didn't buy anything either.. Finally it has happened.. A steam Sale passes and I either own most of the most games on sale, or the few others left don't interest me. Guess we'll see how my will power stands at the Christmas-New Years sale.

I was hoping for 75% off Torchlight 2, I like retail cases so I'm against paying 10 dollars for a game without one. Too bad, I will be content with Diablo 3 until then.

All skyrim dlc, Anna, Batman: Arkham asylum and Batman: Arkham city.

Loved the sale even though I lost a bit of money.

CS:GO, Dishonored, Chivalry, Fable III, and Awesomnauts skin pack. Now we wait for the abuse of the Christmas sales.

I'm still feeling guilty over my bloated back catalouge at the moment so I didn't get anything. I would buy the shit out of carrier command if it went for a tenner though.

I bought Gal Civ 2 and thought it would be right up my street. I've not given it much of a chance yet, but my first impressions aren't great. I can't afford to buy more since I need to set up another aquarium, so no more games for me till the new year :(

my only purchase was the walking dead, seeing as most of the games that were on sale that i would have been interested in, i already bought. tbh i've got a lot of a backlog as it is, and having bought blops2 recently as well i don't have a huge amount of time amongst uni work, so holding off buying stuff unless i really want it

Mark of the Ninja
Zeno Clash
Batman: Arkham City GOTY

I decided to stick to games that I can run on my laptop since my gaming PC is in a different country altogether. I bought Mark of the Ninja which somehow manages to scratch that massive tumorous itch I've had for stealth games lately and is loads of fun. Turns out I can't run Zeno Clash on this laptop properly but it was like half a quid so I don't mind all that much. As for Arkham City, I couldn't resist, even though I have to wait until I'm back home for Christmas to play it. Normally I would wait until the Christmas sale to buy it but there are some weird regional restrictions imposed on European steam store and Batman is not available for purchase as a result. Being able to buy it in the UK and play it back home is a nice workaround though.

Also, Deus Ex: Human Revolution for 3 quid? I bought it for 40 EUR last year! Goes on to show - never ever pre-order games again. Ever.

Since I bought roughly a thousand games over the past 2 summer- and the last christmas sale, I only bought Chivalry (which is really fun) and Skyrim (the vampire DLC thing) so yeah, quite proud of myself this time :))

Max Payne 3 (+ Season Pass) at 75% off
and Torchlight 2 four pack.

That's about it. I'm trying to save money for the Steam Christmas Wallet Genocide.
What do you do with the Season Pass? What is involved with activating it? I got this as well. First few levels of MP3 are a hoot. Do you know of an invincible mode? Thanks.

EDIT: They got me again.

Torchlight Two: they tricked me! I bought on sale for $15, they dropped it to $10 later!!!
Max Payne 3
Alan Wake and AW's other download
Saints Row 3 bundle. DLC like the Shark Gun don't appear to work yet. I don't know why.

Brought the "Walking dead" Chapters for me, and "Alice Madness returns" and "Commander Keen" for my partner. Pretty small buys, but I'm happy with it!

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. I think....The second one, at least! I don't remember which is which, War or Fall. Already played the first one, and I loved it, barring the obvious flaws of not being able to rebind your keys, which is blatantly retarded.

I only bought Max Payne 3.

It's alright. The basic gunplay is good fun, if rather repetitive.

Sadly, it insists on shoving it's thoroughly dull story down my throat with cutscenes rendered in bright, flickery, headache-o-vision. Also, Max spends the game straining sooo very hard to be bitter and cynical that he's in danger of giving himself a rupture.
This was what I thought I was going to be feeling when I got it in the mail the other day. But I've got to say I quite enjoy the story. The writing and voice acting are top notch. It continues its' noir roots and a noir voiceover is typically grim or subdued. And I actually think he's got a bit of a dark/self-deprecating wit, if not sense of humor. "I had a bullet in my second favorite drinking arm" is a golden line that made me chuckle.

As for the topic at hand, having gone far too crazy with the summer sale, I went a little light on this one
- Torchlight II
- Hotline Miami
- Mark of the Ninja

For me:

Dishonored
Saints Row 3 + all DLC
Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
Rage
Torchlight 2
Atom Zombie Smasher

For my girlfriend:

Skyrim
The Walking Dead
Torchlight 2

For my friend:

Dishonored

So far I've only played Dishonored, which is excellent. Girlfriend has finished Walking Dead and is presently neck deep in Skyrim.

I bought the two Shogun 2 campaign expansions and the ikko ikki clan pack. £17, awesome considering fall of the samurai is £25 itself normally
