Steam summer sale 2012

So, I'm guessing the Steam summer sale is right around the corner(might very well be tonight, since the start has been the last Thursday of June, the last couple of years). Because of that, I thought I'd make a thread and see what games people are hoping to see go on sale. Also, if people feel like it, they can post what they end up buying, planned or otherwise.

So there you have it, any games in particular you are hoping to go on sale?

As for myself, I'm not really hoping for anything specific to be honest, but I wouldn't mind if something like The Dream Machine, Jade Empire and Alan Wake: American Nightmare goes on sale. I know neither of the three are expensive as it is now, but my backlog is big enough as it is, without buying games not on sale. Also, I'm always on the lookout for indie games on sale, as you find a hidden gem from time to time.

I'm gonna buy a lot of indie hits that are just a tad too expensive for me for now. Binding of Isaac, Hack Slash Loot, Tiny and Big, Legend of Grimrock, and with any luck A Valley without Wind. Dunno if I'll be able to get those for 20 euros, but I hope so!

I've got the Dawn of War games and also all the Deus Ex games. Human Revolution seems kinda challenging right now but it's more the controls than anything at the moment.

I'm hoping for a sale on Alpha Protocol, Divinity 2 and the Total War games.

I generally have enough games now.

I've also been hoping for a sale on Fallout 3 GOTY edition to save me the trouble of reinstalling it from my disc and downloading everything I got from GFWL again.

If you have a friend that can trust you with the money you could take advantage of steam's gifting tool and have him buy you all of them until you can pay them back.

I've currently got 77 games on Steam. Played maybe...........1/3rd of them through to completion and just bought Space Marine there for a fiver even though I started playing F.E.A.R 3 the other day. I'm looking quite forward yet dreading the summer sale.

I never know what I want to buy until the Steam sale actually happens. I just browse the list and to see what hits my "good deal" zone.

Quite a few titles I'm interested in, like Just Cause 2, AC: Revelations, Dead Rising 2......etc, etc.

Problem being, I spent the little cash I had recently on the Deus Ex Collection on the weekend deal thing. So... Unless something comes on REALLY cheap, will probably buy fuck all.

Do you have a gamestop in your area? If I remember right, they sell Steam cards now that put money on your steam account, so you could just withdraw some money and buy a few cards if you are so inclined.

I've currently got around 250 unique games on Steam, 277 if you count shortcuts and games like Sam and Max. So I'm not sure what I can buy, I'll find something though. Either way, our wallets are all going to get violated horribly.

Operation Arrowhead (for the DayZ mod) is the only game I'd consider buying on sale, and even then I would easily live life without it.
