Steam summer sale 2012

I saved some pennies to spend on it and I was hoping I wouldn't be in hospital for it so I'm hoping it will be tonight.

Assuming it begins on Monday after the Dawn of War sale ends, I'll most likely be out of town when it starts, so I gave my mother the URL for the main site and a few things I'm hoping will drop to -75%:

-Prototype (not normally into sandbox and particularly not 'being a dick sandbox', but Alex's brand of parkour looks fun)
-Hard Reset (since Painkiller doesn't work properly, might as well play a game that does work by the same guys)
-Rayman Origins (played the demo and it looks pretty sweet, and plays pretty sweet too)
-Thief 2: The Metal Age (not normally into stealth but I've heard a lot of good things about this one)
-The two Ys games (I just love action-RPGs, but not Western story design so much...)

If any of those drop (specifically to -75%) between the 2nd and the 5th, I'll have someone ready for them - and I'll be ready to catch them myself once I get back. (Some of them might not reach that low, but I can hope for it...)

I'll be getting ARMAII combined operations so I can finally try out DayZ.

Also, the Civ V Gods and Kings expansion. Been salivating over that for a while now.

Apart from those, most likely a game or two from my wishlist. It'll be a good summer.

Alpha Protocol and Fallout: New Vegas: Ultimate Edition for sure, and then whatever Steam uses to pique my interest.

EDIT: OT, Nuclear Dawn, part FPS part RTS, sounds badass, one person on each team is the general that commands from the RTS perspective. the rest are FPS people.

Can't you get a temporary replacement card? That's what happened to me, but I got a temporary card that stops working after 2 weeks while I waited for my final one.

Now that I look at Steam's list of payment methods though, there seems to be a direct banking thing which needs no card.

The Amazon Summer Sale has Max Payne 3 for 50% off, I believe it Steam Activatable as well.

I have $200 reserved for the Steam sale. $200 is by far nothing in terms of money but I figure with such great sales it will go very far. For now I only have two games I know for certain that I wish to purchase. Total War: Fall of the Samurai and ARMA II: Combined Operations. Any other purchases will be done mattering what goes on sale and if it attracts me.

Dude, I budgeted $75 last year and got like 15+ games. Are you looking to build an entire library in one full swing?

This'll be the first Steam sale that I might participate in. Still, I have no idea what games I would want. It seems that at the moment I have all I want from Steam. Maybe if Defcon gets a good discount, I'll pick it up, but there is nothing else I can think of.
