steam trading

so what do you think about the steam trading system? it allows trading games,tf2 and spiral knights items and coupons...
have u used it yet? are u going to?
also i wanted to know if its ok to make a post for these trades (on which people can offer and buy gifts and what not... or if its against forum rules? please confirm thank you!

So far, I've only used it for regular TF2 exchanges. It's convenient to be able to trade without having to launch TF2.

I'm sure this is entirely fine, but it'd be much better to make a usergroup about Steam trades instead.

I like how it's so convenient, although I never trade non-TF2 items anyway. It was useful when a friend recently got me the Heavy pack and the Scottish Resistance as a birthday present without getting us in the same game, just surprised me when I logged in one morning.

I am a huge fan of the steam gift/trading system. I am always buying my friends games and the Steam system just makes it so hugely easy to do so. I can snag games during sales and gift them at my convenience.

I traded some TF2 items for Borderlands a little while back. There is a whole section in the steam forums for trading. In fact I definitely recommend checking there before trading any items or games to get an idea of their worth. I learned this the hard way by looking afterwards and finding out I could have gotten a lot more than Borderlands for my items. It's also a good place to find people to trade with, just don't trust anyone, and only trade via steam.

well since people have started giving out offers anyhow id do it as well...
im selling a copy of batelfield bad company 2 and a bunch of cupons
valve 33% EDGE 50% and warner bros 10% (that includes batman arkham city yall!!!)
