Yeah, I mentioned Warmachine. And a video game based on it is currently in production by a company called Whitemoondreams.Enigmers said:There's a tabletop miniatures wargame out there called Warmachine which is basically about wizards controlling giant steam-punk robots to beat the shit out of each-other. It's not a video game, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Damn, I went one week without food, sleep or toilet breaks coming up with that name, just because I didn't want to say Bioshock: Infinite everytime I wanted to talk about Bioshock: Infinite because I can guarantee for the next few months I'll be talking about Bioshock: Infi-ARGH!GeneticallyModifiedDucks said:No. Just no.Pegghead said:Fable 2 to a certain degree I suppose, but that is kind of pushing it.
Aside from Bioshock there's nothing I can think of that comes close, I'm eagerly awaiting Binfinite though (Bioshock: Infinite, yes, no?).

I would highly suggest picking it up. It's old enough not to be priced between $19.99, and there's a chance you could even find it in a $9.99 bargain bin somewhere. Amazon is a good bet too.Fetzenfisch said:Why.have.i.never.heard.of.this?tsb247 said:Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends is my absolute favorite steampunk game to date. It's a GREAT game, and it was kind of a stealth hit. The reviewers everywhere said, "Ok, it's a good enough game," but many of the actualy players feel it never got the attention or reviews that it should have.
Oh, and the multiplayer is EPIC if you can get with a decent person. I've had games that have laster for upwards of 5 hours!
Steampunk + Magic/dragons + ancient alien technology = ZOMGAWESOME!
Awesome! It's FAR better than nay of the critics gave it credit for. I would suggest patching it up with the in-game patching utility. The patches fix a lot of issues that the original version had, and one of the patches adds some awesome units and abilities.Fetzenfisch said:I actually got lucky and found a copy in the low price pyramid at the store this morning for 10 EURtsb247 said:I would highly suggest picking it up.
