I really hope that Rock Star, or Take Two, starts to expand from the realism-sandbox games they have been coming out with, and expand into genres like Cyberpunk and Steampunk.

Then we'd sure get a good Steampunk game.

The only one i remeber is Arcanum. I got the game years ago very cheap, never heard of it, but was great. Interesting and cool. When i play a RPG with Diablo-style game view, and i encounter enemies , the music that plays at the start of combat in Arcanum goes off in my head. It wasn't bad or good, but just memorable.
Also, Arcanum has this Magick (i think the word was written like this in the game) versus Technology thing going on. Liked that. Just saying.

Anyways, don't know any other games.

Man, GTA IV in a steampunk world... Damn you, now you made me sad such game doesn't already exist...

OT, the only steampunk game I've played, at least the only one which had a significantly strong steampunk feel, was Arcanum. OP, if you haven't already, you should really try it. Think Fallout 1 & 2 in a steampunk version of the D&D universe. It is that good.

There's the Iron Grip series, one is a free HL2 mod, the other is standalone and probably on sale right now on Steam.

Oh, by the way - My girlfriend finds Fable II to be the only game that satisfies her Steampunk cravings.

You can get clockwork stuff in it, and the architecture is reminiscent of early era Victorian stuff.
