Steins Gate is really starting to annoy me...

Am I the only one who doesn't like this? I mean, it's fine that the Escapist is Advertising an Anime DVD. I don't care about Anime, but as long as I can ignore the advertisement, I can live with it, plus, I bet the Escapist likes this anime and that they're getting paid well.

What I don't like is the fact that the stupid thing makes the entire Website go lower, and then make it raise in 5 seconds! I don't like it, it's really annoying, and It's not necessary. Either keep the Website low or at it's normal area, don't lower it only to raise it!

What do you guys think? Am I the only one? Or do you agree with me?

What?! Steins;Gate is a great series! How can it be...oh wait. The advertising.

Haven't actually seen this sort of Ad, but I don't like ones that change size or have volume. Those bother me.

The only ads I'm getting are Smokey the Bear telling me to stop wildfires. Considering I'm from Ireland that's not really a going concern here. But whatever.

I don't mind ads, the site needs cash to function, as long as they're not in my face it's grand.

You need to contact the tech team or someone. Ads are fine, but when they start to make the site unusable, you have a problem.

The ad is not bothering me... that much. The page moving by itself startled me at first.

But mostly the ad is just making me wish I wasn't broke...

It could be worse. A big WOW ad, that I can't close, keeps popping up and covers half of my screen. But hey, at least theres no sound...

Well, at least it isn't like the De Blob 2 ad that took up 2/3 of the site from a few years back.

The Escapist's means of advertising it is VERY BAD.

See, I'm actually interested in the anime and have been considering watching it, though there's a lot of stuff I want to do that has higher priority, but this ad really is obnoxious. EVERY time I go to a new page I need to see it shove the rest of the page down for a bit. Advertise, sure, but it's a bit ridiculous. Plus it seems to lag things when I go with my usual habit of running down the list of Off Topic topics that interest me, right clicking, and opening a new tab. I find it a bit annoying that I'd have to change my habits for an ad.

Edit: Oh and in before someone goes on and says how everyone needs to get a Publisher's Club membership. As if the site is meant to be obnoxious if you don't have a membership.

My god sooo in my top 5 I would buy it except you know I am not paying 40$ for half a show.
I think instead we should have a Steins;Gate thread since I don't see the ad anymore unfortunately.
