Stockpile/backlog of gaming to do.

Has anyone else got a relatively large backlog of gaming they have picked up but not completed in the last year or so?
I have set myself the task to complete all of these unfinished games before I get tempted into buying anymore when the Steam Christmas sale comes around.
The list is below. It is a mixture of gifts, games I've purchased myself or co-owned with my housemate from the past 6-12 months.

I need to finish Catherine, MGS3, DMC3, Bayonetta on hard and a load of other random stuff. Also have a few animes and manga to catch up with.

I'm too busy getting my ass destroyed in UMVC3 because enemy Wesker + new team = negative win/loss, playing too much LoL (because Katarina is so much fun) and best of all Persona 4 Arena comes out tomorrow so i'll have that to sink time into as well!

So hype!

Good luck with nocturn. It's not easy , even on normal . Peice of advice from a guy who completed the game on Hard mode . Don't play hard mode ever . The mental stress and frustration is not worth it , even for the braggin rights . It's a good game , but the hard mode is the most brutal thing i have ever faced in a videogame in my life ... And i beat IWBTG .

Xenosaga episode 3 ( just got my hands on this game , and i'm going to start from Ep.1)
SMT: Devil digital saga 2 , just finished the first like 2 months ago , real good game .
Arc the lad . Never played an arc the lad game , going into this completly blind , any1 play it?

Thanks for the advice on Nocturne. I've played a lot of SMT games so I know about the press turns and simple things like agi = fire. Heard it was very hard, but I feel I might be up to the challenge.

Arc the Lad I got the Arc the Lad Collection that Working Designs put out many many years ago. I finished 1, played like 5 hours of 2 and got sidetracked, and never even touched 3. I also finished the first PS2 Arc the Lad Twilight of the Spirits. A lot of people gave it negative reviews, but I happened to enjoy it.

The problem I have with Planescape Torment is that I've started it so many times but don't finish it due to one of the following: don't have the time to get into it properly, I get a new game and don't play it again for months or my brother wants his copy back. Now I've downloaded my own copy from GOG just need to find some uninterrupted time to finally complete it.

That's pretty much all of my Steam library, actually. God damn Steam, making games too cheap to resist! I haven't bought anything since the Summer Sale since I've just got too much now, and I've been burnt since so many of them simply don't work. Fuck PC gaming.

I also forgot I had some of those XBLA games. It's been literally years since I touched some of them. You can't even buy Marble Blast Ultra any more. They took it off the marketplace.

I've also got a handful of iOS games to get round to, but I don't really play iOS games any more, and I can't be bothered to turn my phone on to check either. Alas, those games shall forever remain a mystery to you. Melancholy and lamentation!

Yeah that happens me frequently. It takes me a long time to settle in and get actually into the game. A good indicator of that is say you are at work or school and all you can think about is getting home to play said game. Before settling into the game it is very easy to just say screw it and give up on it for awhile since you didn't invest that much time into it.

Currently down to around 30 steam, 20-30 boxed PC, 8-10 360 not counting 10 XBLA arcade games that i'm not done with. Plus 6 Wii games that i'm saving to enjoy when the WiiU launches.

Since i'm sick of my enjoyment of new games been spoiled by the urge to play a unfinished title from my backlog, so i've cut back on the amount of games I buy and am suppressing the urge to buy a PS3.

I've was doing fine ignoring PC gaming to work on my 360 backlog but was caught up the Summer Steam Sale, only wanted to buy the 2 Ys games and ended up buying 10 more ...sigh

And I have yet to play the massive timesink that is Skyrim FUUUUUUUUUUCK
