I agree with you on that thought, even though Opposing Force Shepard was just a itty bitty corporal. Considering the guy is still in limbo, definitely hasn't had any chance for rank advancement. Though he may be so weird in the head by now as well, he's calling himself Admiral Shepard of the Intergalactic House of Pancakes.LegsyWegsy said:everytime someone says Commander Shepard i think of the protagonist from Opposing Force, who was cooler anyway
I think developers should make there games more mature. I mean don't make a game thats entirely porn, thats for the japs to do, but Mass Effect was really grown up with their romance plot.Undead Dragon King said:"The M Rated Content was most titillating". Your wit, good sir, cuts like a knife.
But seriously, from the way EA is milking the marketing for ME2, it's looking like an interglactic badass shootout fuckfest. It seems that trying to make a BioWare game "sexier" is a running theme for them.
Glad to know I'm not the only oneLegsyWegsy said:everytime someone says Commander Shepard i think of the protagonist from Opposing Force, who was cooler anyway
Very well. I have two savefiles. In file 1 I 'dated' Liara, but Wrex died. In file 2 I 'dated' Ashley, but Wrex lived. Of course I want Wrex to be alive in Mass Effect 2, but Liara seems like a much more interesting partner (or whatever she is). And so my problem arises.WindScar said:Dude, if someone hasn't played through Mass effect yet, it's their own damn fault, speak clearly and precicely, what on gods green earth do you mean by ABC?PlasticTree said:I'm not too glad with the 'carry over'-function. I would like to continu a savefile where I have a romance with A, and where I saved B (you know what I'm talking about)..but I only saved B in 1 savefile, in which I had a romance with C. Ergo: no savefile with my 2 'criteria'. So I'll have to play ME all over again, or just ignore a bad choice..mweh.![]()
A choose-your-own starter? As in, you can choose what Shepard did in ME1, or as in, there is simply one start-option for beginners where Shepard made choices that Bioware thinks are the best for enjoying the game?PsiMatrix said:It should be pointed out that there will be a choose-your-own starter if you do want to begin again and for those who don't have/never played ME1.PlasticTree said:I'm not too glad with the 'carry over'-function. Ah, but remember, Adrian Shephard was a Corporal, not a Commander.LegsyWegsy said:everytime someone says Commander Shepard i think of the protagonist from Opposing Force, who was cooler anyway
I completely agree with you. I really liked the romancing in ME1. However, you should look up what EA is doing marketing-wise with ME2. Take a look at the newest unveiled character: Subject Zero.KoreyGM said:I think developers should make there games more mature. The former. The important choices can be made by you without having to play ME1.PlasticTree said:A choose-your-own starter? Well I mean thats actually pretty realistic, there are girls like Ashly and then there are girls where the conversation starts with a Hi and ends up a few minutes later in a bed, Subject Zero. But I feel even with Subject Zero's attitude Bioware will make it deeper than that.Undead Dragon King said:I completely agree with you. I really liked the romancing in ME1. Now maybe it's the direction that BioWare wants to take it in, but I feel EA's heavy hand behind this.
Yeah, I get the feeling she'll be more deep than she seems. No doubt we'll be treated to an entire analysis of the insecurities at the root of her blustering, and she'll turn out more sympathetic.KoreyGM said:Well I mean thats actually pretty realistic, there are girls like Ashly and then there are girls where the conversation starts with a Hi and ends up a few minutes later in a bed, Subject Zero. Awesome, thanks a lot for that. Have been looking around for info like that for quite a while.PsiMatrix said:The former. The important choices can be made by you without having to play ME1.
Shouldn't feel bad, everyone does it.swaki said:really classy, didn't stop me from giggling like a school girl though.
