I would've thought Cole's being there when the blast goes off would take inFamous out of this category. Although I guess he does wake up from the coma later on to find out it's even worse than he thought.

Plus he doesn't recall what happened before waking up in the crater till after he crosses the bridge and then is again unconscious to be sort of bed ridden/recovering while the city go falls to chaos.

I think the point of the article is starting the game to waking up to imminent danger, not just waking up to start the game.
