You're back with a vengeance, Shamus!

And you're damn right, too. Sony have never really been interested in not behaving like pigs to customers. The local Sony centre only hires people who have a gift at talking down to people and refusing to fix or replace faulty crap that's still within warranty.

So funk 'em!

They get that stuff so gamers can interact, also, there is no reason for hackers to steal that info, they attacked sony to ether hurt them, or get credit card info.
The Escapist has my credit info too. And if there's one major lesson to be learned from Sony it's that arrogance is the catalyst.

HAHA very funny. But shame on you kicking us ps3 users when we're down, still funny though.

Also apprantely the psn will be back up on the 3rd May, so silver lining an all.

More kicking Sony I think than the users

I have to say it...

Well PS3, let's see your Blu-ray player get you outa this mess.

(I actually like the PS3 but I'm sick of hearing about how it plays Blu-ray discs)

I hate DRM. And you would be remiss if you didn't point it out. Nice comic, as usual Shamus.

I expect the Escapist to remove all profile fields asking for personal information or risk being labelled blatantly hypocritical.

Sony's PR is a mess.

But I'm never going to blame them for getting hacked.

What's going on with KB's twitter, I wonder?

Selling sand in Dubai isn't all that difficult, apparently they import sand from Australia because the native sand isn't luxurious enough to put in the sand traps of their golf courses. I find that by drawing a false similarity to the cultural phenomenon of buying sand for your desert, you sully the good name of those rich Dubai-ians(?) who love nothing more than a fantastic game of golf! Oh, and Sony something something...

Yeah I was about to add Dubai imports a crud load of sand too. Hopefully the metaphor holds otherwise PS3 people are looking at a remission.

The way I see it, after this fiasco Sony are going to make the PSN the most secure database on the planet whilst there still may be flaws in other people's :D

EDIT: Also much prefer this format, though I understand it might mean more work
EDITED: In that there are two lines of panels as opposed to one. It does make the first/next/latest bar looks a little unprofessional though

The PSN stuff was intended to be kept secret, and wasn't. The stuff here at the Escapist is there for the express purpose of being shared. You're worried a hacker might infiltrate the Escapist supercomputers and steal your AIM handle? Dude, they can get that by just visiting your profile.

That's what I was about to say. Either that or "Wait, did they change the system while I wasn't looking?"

I kinda think the comic is in poor taste, considering every comic has done this joke and acts like Sony didn't even bothered to try to keep someone out of their systems.

Poor Sony, I think this might be the final nail in the coffin for consoles. Unless the new Nintendo WiiII is so hot MS has to release new hardware to compete this might just be the last console gen.
