I like Chrono Trigger and I like powerful magic users. Hence, the avatar. That, and I'm not creative enough on my own to make one. *sniff*

Nonetheless, if I could make one myself, I'd have an infinite looping gif of Sue and Puffy from Grandia 1 performing their "Rah-Rah Cheer" move, but without the jump at the end.

And it would be awesome.

Black Frost, from the SMT franchise. He was really good to use in Persona 3, and he is adorably wicked, so I kept him with me for the majority of the game, beating up shadows like it ain't no thing. Hee ho, mother*cker!

Mine is the Brute from Amnesia. It's a cool monster, so I chose it as my Steam Avatar one day. It stuck, and I use it for everything now.

I played IWBTG and liked it, so I just took a gif of the main character and made it my avatar.

Mine is "Dude" from the game Full Pipe. His story is that one of his sandals fell down a manhole underneath his bed. He jumps down to retrieve it, but ends up stuck in the sewers. The game is a puzzler, trying to get the Dude out of the sewers and back to bed.

Because no one has ever heard of it, and I really like the game, I've been plugging it here on the escapist for the last few years. Try it! It's occasionally frustrating but very charming. And cheap on Steam. I especially recommend it if your into Russian cartoons.

EDIT: No longer seems to be on Steam. That sucks, it was one of the first indie games on there.

The story behind it? Well, we all need a little PonPon in our daily diet.

So that's what paedophilia feels like. I kid, it's a good song to listen to before going for a night out onto the town.

Soarin is my favorite male character in Friendship is Magic, excluding Spike. Took some fan art from DeviantArt, asked C. Cain to size it down for me and it looked like the perfect avatar to me.

Persona 4 is one of the best RPGs I've ever played, Naoto Shirogane is my favorite main character in the game, she's gorgeous in the Persona 4: Golden epilogue. so yeah.

Well, okay, I saw the japanese version of the epilogue on youtube (Don't have a vita :/), and quite liked the new looks for the females. (Kanji looks weird, Teddie looks like he's crossdressing again). Naoto especially, since she apparently stopped trying to look like a guy with... great results.

I decided it'd make a good avatar.

It's not much of one I guess. Than again it still is.

Theres a webcomic called Sandra and Woo, written by a German and illustrated by an Indonesian. About a little girl, her pet raccoon and their friends. It's very Calvin and Hobs like, but it grows to be it's own thing.
I was put off by the name years back, thinking it was some childish (which it can be but in a good way), poorly written and drawn comic.
Well I decided to read it last week and boy was I wrong.

So I chose to go find a raccoon for an avatar, they're few and far between for drawn ones. So I settled on this cute masked guy.

It was kinda a big shift to since I've had practically nothing but Rainbow Dash avatars the last year and a half.

Mine is? a complicated and sad story.

The photograph which is my avatar (and has been since I created the account) was taken in April, 2007, and I was 16. I'm the one in the middle. It was in this month that I experienced my first significant loss: my best friend from childhood passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. He had a heart condition that nobody knew about.

The thing is, it had been a long time since my school class from then had met - several years in fact. This photograph was taken after the funeral, and it was the first time the entire class had been reunified in a very, very long time; the people from the farthest left to the second-to-farthest right were amongst those class mates, whom it had been many years since I had met them. Despite the devastating and tragic loss, it is likely I would not have seen them for many years more to come had it not been for his death.

The woman to the far right was, in fact, a hated enemy of mine during my childhood; we definitely hated each other, and that mutual distrust of one another remained after we left. The strange thing is, it was really only after the funeral that I made amends with her - to this day, we keep in contact and are close friends, and that friendship likely would never have blossomed under any other circumstances. Again, a strange sliver of light in tragic circumstances.

Some may say its inappropriate to use such a personal and meaningful photograph on a website like this, but? I feel like I need reminding sometimes, that even the most tragic of events can have a silver lining. This photograph does that, whenever I use this website.

I'd just finished playing Force Unleashed 2 and liked the look of the amour, so I requested it on Giantitp.

Simple story really; it's Mog from FFVI! I like moogles, and I like FFVI. Put those two together and it's a no brainer ;)!

That said, I've used this as an Avatar for so many thing for many many years, and it's feeling a bit stale. I might have to change it soon.

Once upon a time I came across an anime called Steins;Gate. It was the first time (Well, second actually) that I have been so emotionally invested in an anime. It is the best thing ever. Ever since, I've been using avatars from this series.

Even though I know no one's going to care about my post... >.>

It's the Slambird from AMOK. AMOK was a game with a whole lotta potential that went unrealized and disappeared into obscurity in the 90's. Hopefully I can spread at least some awareness about it again.

Right now it's my OC Gwen Gravity (my personification of the gravitational force). Here's a larger pic: http://scisyhp.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d3hjsff

Sometimes it's any of my other OCs (Sara Strong, EMily, or Winona Weak, all of which are personifications of the forces.)
