A LJ group dedicated to Barney and Robin's relationship in HIMYM. I chose it because HIMYM is cool, NPH is awesome and I feel the message my avatar relays relates an awful lot to some threads here.

The avatar I had before was the portrait sprite of Soma Cruz from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. I love the game, so I used the protagonist. I was using it for so long, I lost track of when I started using it.
The one I have now, well there's a furry artist who I follow (primarily due to how quickly her work is improving; I've seriously never seen anyone get so much better at drawing stuff so quickly). I was watching her Livestream and she was taking quick requests. So I had this guy drawn, and since she was kind enough to make something for me, I felt I should use it somewhere.

I had this one very briefly. I found it online somewhere and loved it. However I didn't want to give the impression that I was some sort of anarchist so I didn't keep it too long.
My current and likely permanent one, it's based on the back cover of my favorite album. I'll update it occasionally with different backdrops just for fun.
I got really drunk back in the middle of the summer and woke up on near a beach in Northern California, seeing how I was in Nevada when I started drinking I thought that was amazing. That has nothing to do with how I got my avatar, but I thought you might like to know.

Mine is currently going between whichever 40k person, group or organisation I'm most into at the minute. Last was the Ordo Hereticus because I was writing Dark Heresy campaigns, now the World Eaters because "Blood for the blood god" is how I feel whenever I get a potential employer giving me the "You'll make a great addition to someone else's company". Next is probably going to be Grey Knights, because next I might actually have the cash to put together an army and I like Grey Knights. You just don't like them because you're a heretic.
