Strange habits?

Idk if this is uncommon or not, but when I sleep, if the room im in has a door, it MUST be shut. It will just bother me if its open. >.<

I do this whatever room I'm in, It'll haunt me out of the corner of my eye untill I shut it

I also play with my beard a lot. Occasionally when I'm really bored in a class, I'll start pulling out the hairs that feel all twisted and screwed up.
I have a friend who grabs any and everything sticky he can see and will play with it for hours on end. Just pushing it against his fingers and such. When he's done, he usually stores it in his hat for later. This guy literally carries around a page of stickers or labels.

Nah. Otherwise the beard thing would have been a cousin or close relative.
Also, while I walk sometimes while coming up with DnD or Star Wars campaign ideas I'll start making random sound effects. I tend to scare normal people when they overhear me =)

Also, I chew on things. Like bits of plastic, straws, pen-caps, toys, cardboard, rubber bands, pencils, pens. I also say "groovy" and "I can dig it." I know, I hate myself too >_<

I do that too! I'm not a great drummer seeing as guitar is my primary instrument but I love to play. I'm moving into an apartment though so no kit for me.

You and me both. And for me, it has to be cut diagonally from the top left to the bottom right. No idea why I'm like that, I just am. I also say "out" and "about" like a Canadian, even though I'm from Michigan, and we typically don't pronounce it that way.

I do that too, but I wouldn't say it's strange.

Also if there's a gap in my curtains when I go to sleep, I can't sleep unless I close that gap, so I fiddle with my curtains a lot trying to get them perfect.

And when I'm sat down, I sit with my thumb in my other hand with my fingers round it. Dunno if it's a girl thing or not :/

Not yet at least, most of us will end up in law enforcement or armed services though. Also groucho walking down halls in a conga line will get you stares.

My strangest compulsive habit would be "checking the three lumps" as I call it. if you see me suddenly tap both pockets of my jeans and my chest, in actually checking to see if my housekeys, wallet and cellphone are still on my person. If im missing any of the three and I dont know exactly where they are I can't get comfortable.

I was staying in a hotel once, since the doors work with a pass I didnt need to bring my keychain when I went out. I felt anxious the whole time I was away.
