I was talking to this one girl and talked about music. She told me she likes this German song called "ruf mich doch mal an". Then I noticed a little thing I do, every time I meet a girl I instantly pair her with a song. So whenever I think about her, I think about her song.
So, what weird little habits do you have?

I associate people with their avatars online, so if their avatar changes I freak out, I also tend to voice act their comments in my head as to whatever gender their avatar is. (female pics get female voices even if the poster is male, and vice versa)
Haha, I also do that a lot. Then I get freaked out by them saying they are the other gender xD

I'm sure everyone does this but when I'm reading a book or anything that has a name I can't pronounce without thinking too hard, I just make up a name that looks similar.

I have a tendency to randomly burst into song around people I know well. Of course, they know that it's completely normal for me, because they know me well too. I also find myself daydreaming in the middle of conversations, and suddenly voicing the things I was imagining, which tends to freak people out. It's quite hilarious actually.

I didn't think of it like that before, but yeah. Except no-one acts as non-chalant as the other cast members do when I do it around my friends. As I said it freaks them out. It doesn't bother the Scrubs people when JD does it.

I do exactly that. It's probably what I was thinking when I changed my avatar to Clint Eastwood.XD

As for other things I do, I asscociate books that I read with certain songs or albums.. usually cause I read while listening to that music.

And I talk to myself when I paint, I get odd looks from my friends in art.

I used to own a cat (age got her in the end). And she was a bit handsy with her claws when she cuddled up to me. I got in to the habit of tossing a towel over my shoulder to protect myself from being kneaded to pulp (and she really liked to scrunch her paws in towels anyway).

Now she is gone I find that it feels weird to not have a towel tossed over my left shoulder - especially when at my PC - and tend to do it sometimes anyway even though she is gone.

Sometimes I forget that she isn't there and pat the towel =(

The only time I shave is when it gets uncomfortable to rub my chin-neck area when I'm thinking.
Yeah, I'm a massive slob, so what?

EDIT:
I'm also constantly making little, vague references to things, both on The Escapist and "IRL".
For example, the only reason I put the "so what" in my post is because it's something Dr. Ned says in Borderlands. If you can remember when he says it, I'd be very impressed.
I might even give you a gold star.

I'm terrible at remembering names, but can remember faces for years. Because of this, I try to associate one's name with an attribute of their face.

Sometimes it works, sometimes doesn't.

At annoying points in games I stop for about 10 minutes and go on my laptop to check things

I also talk to myself while playing games (about wierd stuff)

My mind also likes to think the worst of everything :(

I've noticed, when I smile, I tend to do this thing where I half-surpress it.
I sort of pull the corners of my mouth down, but it's still quite obvious I am smiling.
It makes me look pretty stupid, actually.

Thankfully, I am working on just replacing it with a scowl.
SO much easier to maintain than a stony face.
