Strange things you find beautiful

Ever try to spin a vase on a clay wheel and have it collapse on itself? Most people find this to be the lest desirable outcome. I love how it looks though. I'll always throw it in the kiln and paint it up real snazzy-like. Not terribly useful however.

*drool* I want it... I played one in a hall when I was accompanying my school choir at the Toronto Showcase in March. It's breathtaking; it does exactly what you want it to, and the sound is... *hyperventilates*

Other things I find beautiful... When I first got my transitional lenses, they were grey and made everything very dull-looking. Consequently, when I got the lenses traded for sepia-tints, I was shocked at how beautiful everything looked. In midday, everything outdoors looked drenched in sunset light. I was so happy.

I know exactly what you mean.
I got to perform <url=http://www.najp.org/articles/LIF%20DJB%20NEW%20PERFORMING%20ARTS%20CENTER%204.JPG>here (I think that's the right picture) and I got to play one of those 400K Steinways.

It was amazing.
I almost died.

A well made sammich. It is the most beautiful thing in the world, especially if it's accompanied by a bowl of tomato soup, still steaming but not too hot, in which to dip your sammich. Even more so if it's on a tray, delivered to you in bed by a lover on some special day that you have off of work. Once you're done with the sammich, the tray with an empty bowl and plate can be set aside, then you snuggle up with said lover while watching something fun and amusing, calming and relaxing. Maybe spend some time in a hot tub, later, after a few hours have passed.

That's just beautiful...so...very...awe-strikingly beautiful.

I don't get why people find snakes so abhorrent, they're quite adorable to me. Same goes for a lot of reptiles and amphibians.

Also, most people view math as that stupid hard thing they had to do in school. I view it as the beautiful, elegant harmony of the universe. Being good at it helps too.

The shape of a woman's back. The contours of the shoulder blades and the oh so delicate indications of the spine poking up against the skin. Mmm quite beautiful, I honestly believe a woman's back is in many cases her most beautiful feature.
