I absolutely loved the weapons in the..second Turok game? >_> Not exactly sure which one it was, but there was a weapon called the 'Cerebral Bore'. It fired this head-seeking dohickie that drilled into your head, spewing bits of skull and blood every which way and then exploded. Over the top, totally badass and SO awesome.

My asbsolute favorite is Perfect Dark's laptop gun. That things alt mode saved my ass a few times.

That one bugs me because although it is in fact a large key, it has no edge or BLADE!

Cerebral bore from Turok 2. Other than that I used to play a rogue in WoW that was known to dual wield a pair of enchanted fish.
I liked the beer steins =D

The MIRV from Fallout 3. Really only a weapon you use when you have cheats on and are just dicking around, because there is never a single situation in that game where the MIRV does not constitute massive overkill.
Hell, there's only a handful of situations where the standard Fatman doesn't constitute massive overkill.
"Nuke Shotgun. Why? Because Fuck You! That's why."
i disagree sir it is absolutely necessary when being chased by death claws in your underwear

There's plenty of wierd or improvised weapons in dead rising 1 and 2. I had a rather good time picking up a box of nails and then throwing them at zombie's faces. I mean seriously? Who the hell throws nails into peoples faces? XD

The big dildo found in the police station showers in the GTA games. lol
It's one of the most powerful melee weapons in the games.

Does the entire Ratchet and Clank series count?
Yes. RYNO much?

For me, I love the idea of the Heavy Automatic Shotgun from Metro 2033- a heavy machine gun that fires shotgun shells.

Also:

The Auger from Resistance (Shoots through walls).

The Crossbow from COD: Black Ops.

The OSIP from Half-Life 2.

The Gluon Gun and Tau Cannon from HL1.

The Spore Launcher and Shockroach from Half Life Opposing Force.

The Chemical Thrower from Bioshock.

I wonder if Stranger's Wrath really counts, it's the ammo that's strange, not the crossbow.

I'd like to say S4 League but the weapons aren't really strange, they're just... unique.

Took me a while but I got it: Pandora's Weapon from Devil May Cry 4. That thing was a brief- case that transformed into like 8 different guns (and a floating vehicle that fires missles)
