I think that the Nightmare Beta unit of Devil May Cry is an interesting specimen. It's an arm cannon that shoots piercing bolts of demonic energy, and its design is based on the Nightmare weapon, which is essentially the result of Satan commissioning his subordinates to invent a tank.

The needler is a unique little weapon. Although it was at the most extreme in Halo 2 where you could dual-wield it. Pink exploding needles everywhere.

Fallout 3 flaming sword:

Lawnmower blade
Motorcycle Brake Handle
Motorcycle Gas Tank
Pilot Light

You were literally running around with a gas tank on your back, and a pilot light burning right next to the tube connecting to it. I loved that thing, and wished I was insane enough to build one in real life.

It may not have been ridiculous game-mechanics wise (how many magical flaming swords are there?), but seriously, imagine that thing in real life lol.

I love the Shishkebab, because A: It's kickass and B: With Pyromaniac perk it's probably the strongest melee weapon in the game.

My asbsolute favorite is Perfect Dark's laptop gun. That things alt mode saved my ass a few times.

The Keyblade is my Favorite.

That one bugs me because although it is in fact a large key, it has no edge or BLADE!

Maybe it is a key at ALL times and when you stick into people, it "unlocks" Their Death

Or we just club them to death with it. Just like Donald, he manages to kill Heartless and Nobodies by whacking them with a stick

Heh, me and my mate once had a brick battle, with high speed on, it was on that mode where the lower you rank the smaller you are and we'd maxed out the bots.

but the silly weapon unlocks in soul calibur where always one of my favourites.
