What is the strangest food you've ever eaten, and it doesn't have to be voluntarily eaten either :]

Fermented soy beans in Japan. Apparently they're really good for you but they just taste gross.

I grew up in northern Queensland in Australia, and my Dad was in the army.

I got the armies survival snackbox lessons, which involve grubs, worms, ants, plants ...basically anything that is even close to being edible.

Witchetty grubs would be right up there, but they taste pretty good. Google them, you get some nice images right at the top!

Frog legs. My mom dared me, and I am never been one to be called a chicken. Ironically, they tasted kind of like chicken....

A cucumber with the middle part scooped out (so just the skin, mixed with some sausage, Yogurt, Coke, mint ice cream, sour cream, And finally Horse Radish.

Edit: I meant the Ostrich, Croc and Roo....not the others. Though I believe I have eaten some kind of scorpion...

What kind of ants did you eat? I only know of two species that are any good, honey ants, and an ant you find in Queensland that has a green abdomen, sorry can't recall the name.
