I once had a problem with Mass Effect where all of the camera angles for the Normandy at the start of the game screwed up. Like when it was supposed to be viewing Anderson I could actually see the inside of the hanger. Whenever it was supposed to view space I would always see Shepard in some void-like area. The glitches stopped after I landed on Eden Prime and I've never been able to see this glitch again.

GTA: SA. Parachute from maximum height, deploy parchute, let parchute go and when you hit the floor you'll have one health and stil be alive. Regardless of the fact you just fell 1000 feet. When my friend showed me this we both laughed, so I tried to do it. It was fine until the fall through floor and fall another ten foot glitch popped up, killing me. However, the wasted message wouldn't pop up and I couldn't do anything without restarting. This was on PS2 by the way.

The worst glitch I had was when I was playing Morrowind and I got close to the end of the game after completing ALL of the sidequest, and suddenly I my save files where gone and no matter what tried I couldn't get them back until out of anger I slammed down on the keyboard, an then they all just reappeared.

The glitch is still there to this day, Whenever I want to load a save file file on my morrowind game I have to first hit keyboard.

In Crysis I fired a rocked at one of the tanks which attacks you after that you rescue the hostage - when it struck home the tank flew into the air...and stayed there! It just kept revolving in mid-air :D BRILLIANT!

I made an extremely agile Khajit in Oblivion, and once I'd gotten the boots of Bloody Bounding (I think), I was capable of jumping from the ground, to a rooftop, and from there I could jump over the wall into or out of any given town. The only problem is that the town (or outside world) doesn't load when you jump over the wall, so all I got was a glitchy mess of half rendered buildings (or forest) that was designed only to be viewed from a distance. Not so much a glitch, but a pointless exploit on my part.
I did the same sort of thing in Mournhold in Morrowind with that +1000 acrobats scroll.

The heatsink glitch in the mechwarrior 2 mech editor which let you remove more heatsinks then were in place to free up weight.

Of course without enabeling the invulerability option the mech also blew up instantly because it was generating heat based on the game calculation. of # of heatsinks * -1 = heat dissapated per tick.
Twas a bloody useful glitch until the mech exploded!

Becoming a werepire (or werepyre, depending how you care about spelling it) in Morrowind.

Oblivion: i watched 6 guards duke it out in the Imperial city, eventually killing each other until only one was left... Naturally I stripped the bodies and sold all the armor over the course of about 4 trips to the Copious Coinpurse.
weak. I did that except with all of them... so I watched essentially over a dozen duke it out, including a pair of archers.

Playing MW 2, I entered matchmaking for Ground War, brought me to a private match with 18 people, I was the leader. We then had 18 man free for all on Rust. Twas EPIC.

I just totally revived a year old topic. Oh yeah.

My new favorite is the "sky walk" glitch in Assassin's Creed 2. If you do it right, you can sprint off a ledge and keep running through the air above everything else.

Weirdest glitch I saw today...

I was playing MW2 on the 360 (as far as I can tell this problem is a 360 exclusive), and I decided to play some ground wars. About a minute after being unable to find a game, it sends me to a match of free-for-all ground war in rust. At first I thought it was TDM since about half the players were shown as friendlies, but everyone would kill me. The very second I spawned, too. I lost about .50 on my KDR from it.

I saw this glitch while watching one of my dorm mates play Fallout 3. He had just finished with a small battle and was walking through a small town. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a body fell from the sky and landed in front of him. It was, apparently, the body of an enemy that he had just defeated. It was the strangest glitch I have ever seen and will probably ever see.
