First off bookcase is not quoted because its some very lame innuendo. I'm using the term bookcase loosely here. So any place you generally keep your books/roomates books/everyones books/ect ect.

Anyways while skimming my bookcase looking to re-read the Hobbit, I stumble across a erotic novel about vampires or something. No it wasn't twilight, it was a lot more smutty(er?) than that. Which was both odd and slightly uncomfortable because I didn't buy the book and I hope my grandparents, mother, or aunt left it here.

Anyways strangest book or object you have found on your bookcase or generally area of book keepier(which is now a word because I say so).

EDIT: After going back to look for my book, I suddenly realize that half the library is nothing but erotic novels for old ladies and I'm now deeply disturbed that sits outside of my bedroom.

Damn, wish I was rich enough to use my 100$ as book markers

It was actually mostly in 10s and ones which made it rather odd that I couldn't find it for so long <<

But then again, they were spaced out between the different pages to conceal them better...must have forgot I put it there ^_^

Once when I was very young I pulled out my favourite picture book to find a white-backed spider (they're quite dangerous) had set itself up with a nice web on it.

I instantly dropped it and ran away, I've had an enormous fear of spiders ever since.

Nothing really. No one ever touches my stuff, thank goodness. I guess the oddest thing I found was my sister's then-missing camera, hidden behind a couple of DVDs and bills.

Now if that happened to me with a library book, I would scream with joy.

OT: I once found a DS game stuck in the middle of a Lord of the Rings book I had taken out from the school collection. One week after leaving an announcement about a lost game (no one claimed it) I took it for my own. That is how I got Metroid Prime Hunters, a game I wouldn't pay for but I enjoy somewhat anyway.

A semi-used condom.

No idea why it was there.
...This confuses me greatly.

OT; A trio of industrial-strength magnets. No idea where I got them.
I am also confused, semi-used? like how do you classify that?

I found a giant spider nest in an empty folder.
I'd say it'd be opened and unrolled, but not finished with and tied off.
