Strangest way you've died in a Game

i jumped the 'Great Jump' In GTA IV and i came off my motorbike went to get on it and it fell on my guy's leg and he died
I froze to death on Noveria in Mass Effect 1 because the Mako got caught between two rocks and I couldn't free myself no matter how hard I tried. I attempted to run for Peak 15 from that point...then I learned about Weather Hazzards.
in tribes 2, i was driving a huge vehicle (MPB) and i just hit some random bump on the map, my vehicle started spinning on itself at an insanely fast rate and i also fell through the "floor" of the map, it kept on going/spinning/falling for about 10 seconds before it blew up with me still in it.
Or in a modified map (with highly elastic water) i was using a gravbike, i hit some rock, maiking me TOUCH the water with a litle bit of force.. the rebound was so massively powerfull that i died.. by hitting the map floor from below! It jumped so high i looped though the map on the vertical plane.. basically i got into orbit!
Or in some shooter game where a random garbage bin that i ran into a normal speed just killed me on its rebound.. riiigth.

Left 4 Dead, in "Death Toll" there's a small tree in the shape of a "V" in the parking lot, I jumped through the middle of the "v" shaped trunks, and died. My mates were looking around... no zombies... I just dropped dead...thatstheguy said:
Then the next person did it... and died too... the other two followed suit out of curiosity. We were fighting the zombie apocalypse, and were bested by decorative landscaping.
Mercs 2.
Driving the M1 around in a little rampage against the Chinese. I see one of their A/T teams with their annoying F/A bomb launchers, so I quickly back away. I get rear-ended by something the size and weight of a VW Beetle - and my 65Tonne tank gets back-flipped into the air. On landing, the tank landed on the chinese SP 105mm gun - and I blew up.
MW2 -
Trying to knife someone on highrise. He was in a corner, out of ammo. I charged him. Just as I knifed him, he sidestepped - and I knifed the window. My momentum carried me on, and I fell out of the map.
GTA:SA - falling planes. Far too many times to count, but one of the first times I started playing, I was killed when the little prop plane suddenly fell out of the sky onto me.
BBC2 - I've had the UAV thing happen numerous times to me.
But - the weirdest death I've ever had?
In BFBC2, I planted a tracer dart on a tank. I got the points for it. But, the enemy jumped out. After a while, I jumped into the tank, I just couldn't ignore it. And prompty got blown up by an ally. I got the tracer-destroy point too.

OT: I was once killed by a randomly falling plane in San Andreas.
I had just walked out of a clothing store in San Fierro, to which I heard the sound of propellers. Next thing I hear: It slams into the building, busts 3/4ths of my health, and causes mass panic.
I lol'd.
OT: In Sonic Heroes I was going so fast I ran into a room and there was nothing there causing me to fall to my death, the camera changed so I could see that I had infact gotten to the room before it loaded. Killed by hardware limitations.
Fallout 3: Tranquility Lane Quest.
I got upset at Betty/Dr. Braun's jerkness, so I tried to kill him by whacking my rolling pin at him, he said:
"you weren't supposed to do that, now you have to pay" or something like that.
then he unleashed a burst of energy, and killed me.
I thought of it as unfair game design, until I learned how to use the FailSafe and toss aside having to take the Evil route of that quest.
I got upset at Betty/Dr. Braun's jerkness, so I tried to kill him by whacking my rolling pin at him, he said:

then he unleashed a burst of energy, and killed me.
I thought of it as unfair game design, until I learned how to use the FailSafe and toss aside having to take the Evil route of that quest.
While i was playing the first assassin's creed on my 360, i stopped to get off my horse and grab one of the flags in the kingdom area of the game.
When i got off the horse though, i fell through the ground, and continued to fall for about 2 solid minutes in an endless grey void, eventually hitting an invisible floor and killing me.
Interestingly enough, it unlocked several achievements at once for me, totaling about 200 points. none of the hard ones though, this was only a couple hours into the game, and they were all achievements i would have unlocked otherwise without going out of my way for them
I tried to replicate this several times, in roughly the same area, and failed to do so. made me and a friend laugh pretty hard though.

I was playing Resident Evil 5 and I barely dodged the exacuter. I sidestepped out of the way, and his large axe slashed inches fro mme..litterally hitting Chris's ear...and I got killed.
Also, I was playing Aliens Vs. Predator, playing as a Human (Marine) and got stabbed in the eye by an alien. Made me giggle.

I was playing San Andreas Online and some geeky twit friend of mine set gravity to about 10,000 it's normal value being 800, so the cars were pressed right down on their wheels, trees were swaying violently, helicopters and planes were falling out of the sky, it was very 2012 like but i managed to survive by some kind of god given luck only to fall about 10 cm's to my death, off the curb onto the road.
whats that mediocre game that when you died then an angel came down out of nowhere and scooped you up? i cannot for the life of me remember. Well anyways, first time i saw that, i knew that would be the strangest death sequence i have ever seen. Can someone reply to me with the name of that game? its quite recent
