Hey, I've been trying to find a streaming audio site to listen to music while I'm at work. You see usually I would just use youtube but it's a banned site here where I work. I've tried Grooveshark.com but it doesn't really seem to work reliably. Any recommendations out there fellow Escapists?

Pandora.com is the only one I've ever used/known of. It's great.
Sorry I should mention that I'm in Canada. Apparently Pandora.com doesn't work there and neither does Spotify.

No need to say sorry. Hell, I'm sorry you can't use Pandora. I'm kinda sad now.

Is this finally something to get me to hate on Canada? Might be...
Legal red tape probably, we can't get stuff like Hulu as well apparently.

mog.com, maybe. It does have a limit, though, unless you get a subscription.
Wow this is not my day at all is it? According to their site Mog.com is not available in my country.

Why all the hate on Canada? Are you allowed to talk about proxies on this site?

Not sure but I'm fairly certain that proxies would limit the accessibility of the site like it does to things like facebook, etc.

Pandora.com if you only want a radio setting with some random songs. Also if you don't mind commercials and not being able to control your music

Grooveshark.com it lets you make your own playlists that you can save, but their radio setting isn't as good

Youtube.com if you're boring, don't mind a limited selection, poorer quality, commercials, and constently having to change the song.

you can try slacker radio at www.slacker.com [http:\\www.slacker.com] I don't know if it is offered in canada but it is alright. I discovered it a few days ago so I haven't had too much time to explore it but I like what I have seen so far.

Pandora. Pandora Pandora Pandora. Pandora.

Seriously, its awesome, not only do you get to listen to music you like, but it also introduces you to a lot of other music you will probably like
