ive never understood why people hate it so much... i suppose it does reduce your options while dashing... but it seems to have decent range and speed... meh.)
Level 1 q-bomb (2 seconds) is -13 on HIT. Lol. Basically, even if you hit someone with it, you're still going to eat almost anything the opponent does on reversal. It also starts in 17 frames, same as far standing hard punch; so it's pretty slow.

The other levels (hold charge for more than three seconds) knockdown, but are not hard knockdowns. It's just not worth the risk of them blocking (and being at -17) for a quick knockdown that's armour break, especially since you're giving up either your focus attack, your grab or your slide.

Tortilla or Fajita do a great job at shutting down focus attacks.

i just read that at eventhubs myself and yeah, sounds like something that needs fixing ^^
but i dunno... what seems to happen is that, when they expect a low kick, they start a focus attack to close that option, and then dash if you start running, then shoryuken... it gets me quite often and the bomb has been a method out of this... despite... yeah, that.

ive played almost every fighter on the 360
There's your problem. The 360 pad is fucking awful for fighting games.
clearly not or id hate all of them, and not just this and tekken.
i like the xbox pad, would use it over any arcade stick, and for the majority of games the easier access to the left stick compared to the PS3 is a great bonus. Soulcalibur is the only game that doesnt benefit from the xbox pads design, but thats my favourite fighter right now, so your hypothesis is incorrect.

not really, i play bothe blazblue and ssf4 on xbox and i prefer it to the ps3
problems with controllers and fighting games are just a matter of personal taste (and that annoying 30% of the tournament community that shout down you neck that the arcade stick is god and both the ps3 and x box suck)

To put it simply - i dont find street fight fun at all. Any of them. It doesnt seem to just be me, people who even claim to enjoy the game dont seem to enjoy it when playing it. All i see is frustration and focus. When im playing soul calibur its WAAYYY more enjoyable, everyones got a positive atmosphere and laughs when they get out-done etc.

I've played aallootttt of street fighter and i really dont think its anything special. Well... the way its got everyone saying its the king of fighters when they dont seem to like it themselves is pretty special i spose. But this might just be in my group of friends - i cant really speak for the world here
