Strongest and weakest female characters of all time?

Strongest: Jade, no question (assuming strongest means which female character I happen to like the most)

Weakest: Navi, if it can even be considered female. I always pictured Navi as a sort of nagging girlfriend though, so... I'm sticking by it.

Samus because, you play the game with this Armor suited space bounty hunter...whup up on people and then bang it's a female. Jill Valintine, Claire Redfield, females being belivable to their physical form... Even Sarah Conner in T2 was a butch ass whupping hottie, but even she only had muscles so big to believe her tearing a t-800 in half and was kept good.

No hidden femmisnist crap like trying to buy off Laura Croft (Butt Raider) Or some chick with stick arms but some how she's strong (Chick from Heavily sword) As well unless you being infused with Mana, Magic, Haki, or other supernatural powers Buffy had a video game ande she is down right the weakest in beliveablity and acting.

Princess Peach is pretty useless. Also not hot, too childlike.

I am quite a fan of Alyx Vance, made super hot by not even trying to be hot. I'll also throw in Jane Shepard, Tali and Bastila.

Hawtness aside Those are my choices.

Peach or Toadstool... since they change princesses on us.

I have no clue what's going on here and i can tell most posters don't either. I'm not sure why "strong" seems to be reffering to all positive characteristics and "weak" all negative charactersitics. Using the literal meaning of the words: strongest is ultimecia since she destroys the pass present and future except for seven people, weakest is the Namine that replace Kairi in Sora's heart because she is useless, a Mcguffin, actually evil and nonexistant. These seems like a pretty useless topic when we consider that nearly every videogame character is way more useful than any average person, even Peach. Peach is probably more unlucky than weak considering she is at least as strong as Mario (her glide probably makes her the best character SMB2.)

That's a really awquard definition for a weak character. Your examples don't even make much sense. Lara respects and recieves help from her radio team. And Bayonetta has Enzo and possibly other friends, Maybe her aloofness is a character flaw but ultimatly what she cares about most is her daughter.

Well, strongest and weakest refers to the affect the character had on you, by how much they endeared themselves to you. Peach, being such a thin, boring character gives people a negative impression.

And you did edit my quote. I was referring to characters who are the transparent "Action Girl" character, and Laura and Bayonetta surely fit the bill, especially Laura. If they were trying to remake the series correctly, Laura would go into at least the first level with a team helping her in case of, you know, falling to her death. Characters like them don't have nearly enough support characters for the shit they do.

FF: Weakest: Yuna. Honestly I know shes powerful in a sense but she had too much 40's housewife syndrome in personality and not enough interesting things to say.

Strongest: I've always liked Terra, she was intersting had a good backround and could turn into a freakin esper.

Other: Strongest:I've gotta go with Lara Croft...I mean shes smarter now and always interesting and witty,and who doesnt love shooting badguys on a motorcycle in ripped up eveningwear? She's like a less Cheesy bond.

Weakest:I'm blanking on the name (if you know it let me know)but that Fairy from Zelda that said "Hey Listen!" every freakin five seconds.I mean sure she was TRYING to be helpful but It made me want to kill her, or at least pull my hair out.
