Yes, Bandits, Streetlight, Catch 22... all the same band, basically. Bandits plays both Streetlight and Catch 22 songs.

Ah, Streetlight Manifest. I would have to say they're my favorite Ska band. So ya, I have heard of them and I do enjoy them.

I r confused. Used to think I was one of the twelve people in the world who knew them - I sign up here, make less than 10 posts and spot over 3 posts on them, one being a complete topic.

Love them, actually went to see them last thursday. As for the Bandits of Acoustic Revolution; if I'm not mistaken that's a side-project of Streetlight lead-singer Tomas Kalnoky. As for Catch 22, that's Tomas' old band. From what I've gathered he had a fall out with them earlier but they made up recently.

Streetlight's chill, but there IS a lot of better ska out there. They are basically just Catch 22.

That is kind of true. The resang Keasby Nights(a hit song by catch 22) and even played a song that was orinignally a catch22 song (Blond lead the Blind)

The singer/song-writer is the same for Catch 22 and Streetlight. Streetlight actually re-did the whole Keasby Nights CD.

Recently discovered Streetlight Manifesto as well, and thus ska in general, one of my favorite bands now. My favorite song is We Will Fall Together [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNM3tlEQ1s0&feature=related], by the way.

Would you mind giving some suggestions I don't like slow ska by the way, I'm more of songs like We Will Fall Together, Down Down Down at Mephisto's Café. Stuff like that ;-)
