Stuck In Hospital for Over Two Weeks, What Did I Miss?

Well Escapist, I was released from the hospital (in short, I was in for head trouble) a few hours ago, and I was stuck there since the 3rd. Since I'm rushing through here, can anyone give me the fat skinny what I missed? All I really know is Anthony Wiener resigned and that Ryan Dunn is apparently dead.

Also, I'd really like to know the big news of E3, mainly stuff relating to Mass Effect 3, Modern Warfare 3 and if there was anything about a Perfect Dark sequel (which I highly doubt).

Lulzsec hacked Escapist. well, they hacked a lot actually. But now it seems they are getting hacked themselves. That and the "Web ninjas" are after them. Is quite a spectacle.

Wii U was announced at E3, being nintendo's new console.

Battlefield is looking better than MW3 at the moment (but I won't judge until there out).

DNF still sucks (seriously, who was expecting it to be good?)

About Mass Effect 3:
-released 3/6/12
-graphics improved
-combat more Gears of War-ish (or so they say, never touched GoW, seemed better than ME2 combat)
-gameplay footage included Liara and Garrus as playable characters, and Mordin&Legion make at least an appearance
-Kinect support (voice recognition, nothing big or important)
-roleplayingstuff not really shown, although character development seemed slightly improved

I suggest you look up the gameplay footage from the internets, seemed like good stuff. I wasn't too interested about other games so can't really comment on those.

Shit went down because of Lulzsec, we made tons of jokes on the WiiU, and Valve is releasing Meet the Medic along with a huge update for Team Fortress 2.

Ok, I'll give you the news in easily digestible pieces.

E3 stuff:

-Nintendo announces new console, WiiU(not joking). Has a controller with a touch screen on it. Does not support splitscreen.
-Mass Effect 3 seems to have gone full-on action game. Complete with an on-rails vehicle section where you shoot a machine-gun at a reaper, and an "omni-blade". I can't wait to read the codex for that thing. Will also have kinect-support so you can give orders to team-mates and use dialog by using your voice.
-Modern Warfare 3 looks good. Single-player seems just as focused on spectacle as MW2, multiplayer is being build based on what made MW1 so great.
-No Perfect Dark sequel announced(or Timesplitters, for that matter).
-Insomniac(of Ratchet and Clank fame) revealed new multiplatform game, "OverStrike".

Non E3 news:

-Lulzsec DDoS'd The Escapist. Penny Arcade made a comic about it.
-Duke Nukem Forever actually came out. And it's pretty crappy. Has a two-weapon limit and regenerating health. I mourn the death of Gaming's best joke.

Escapist: Things happened, people were suspended/ banned, got hacked, life returns to normal
(as normal as it can around here!)

Fat skinny is, head trouble (and I'm a lady, so I guess you have to keep the man card).

And I know that they never have a real reason for anything, but what's their apparent reason for protesting Dunn's funeral?

Food was eh at best. Most often, the food wasn't that level of good.

And head's good. However, other troubles have come up.
