It cant be, its around $700-1000 NZD, and the 460 retails at US$200, which is NZ$360

I just bought this card the other day, it's great value. I'd say go for that if you want a good, cheap card. If you want a better card I suggest going ATI, as the 470GTX is a huge leap in price from the 460.

no, the radeon 5970 is to expansive since the gtx460 sli can be mostly as good and half as costly

In sweden, Gtx 480 cost 4299kr ($590,12) [http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=593166]
Radeon 5970 cost 5995kr ($822,92) [http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=594786]

822 - 590 = 232. So in sweden Radeon 5970 cost $232 more then Gtx 480

I'd give my vote to the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 1GB (roughly 300 $ here) or the lil bit more expensive MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone OC 1 GB (roughly 330-340$ here).

Numbers man its just numbers. 470 is a crappy version of the 480 the 460 is the medium range of the 400 series so either buy 460 or 480.
Ive had a 6600, 7800 and now a 260. Never had any issues.
