I don't know why you didn't start doing reviews here earlier, because they're truly excellent.

Very thorough, easy to read, and goddamn it now I want this game. Stupid dead 360 :(
The answer is simple: I'm a lazy bastard, and all the other games I had interest in reviewing were already covered by other very competent reviewers such as yourself.

Too bad about your 360... of all the times to crap out on you, it has to pick now?! :(

Although doesn't Soundwave change into a Record player thing? if so i hope the damn thing has wheels or wings...
His alternate mode is a truck, but he does have the boombox mode, too, and you'll see it at one time in the game, I promise. You'll even see his Cassetticons. :)
Oooh cool, which ones, I've had a nosey and can't find anything on them appearing =(
He doesn't use them when you play as him, but when you fight him he uses Laserbeak, Rumble, and Frenzy.
The ones that didn't appear were Ravage, Ratbat, Reflector, and Buzzsaw.

To my knowledge the game is already out on PC. Give it a whirl! :)

Awesome review mate, sorry it took so long to get around to reading it, been busy playing it!

Also, my favorite part of the campaigns so far:
The fight with Omega Supreme! Especially when Megatron assumed he'd won early and Omega gets back up.

The witty banter between the character and such are awesome, I'm loving the multiplayer and all the classes have something to offer, my game of the year so far and it's going to take a lot to top this one! I'm a huge Transformers fan, as several here already know and this game is so pleasing to me, and that's not an easy thing to do to an uber fan XD

Thanks, friend! Heh, at this rate you'll be ahead of me by 10 levels with each class once I'm done with my current assignment at the end of the week.

And yes, I agree on the GotY part. Darksiders and Alan Wake are not that far behind, but ultimately can't compare... and since we apparently won't be seeing W40k: Space Marine this year I rather doubt there will be anything else in 2010 to tickle both my gamer side and my nerd side in equal measure the way T:WfC has done (and continues to do).

Well, if I am ahead levels wise, rest assured this Autobot will back you up!

I liked Darksiders as well, I hope for a sequel but if not I can live with that. As for Transformers, I'm up to chapter II of the Autobot campaign and am taking my time, escalation has been a ton of fun and has soaked up a good portion of my gameplay. I love a fight against all odds.

Red the review. And I thought the ones I write get too big. Very informative. Just the kind of reviews I enjoy. I am gonna get around reading the other ones once I get through with my exams. I have a review coming up but I am more old school.

And I am gonna get this. But first, I have 2 platinums to get. Friggin shards and hounds...

Great review. Great game, too. I played the campaign courtesy of a friend; am planning on buying it some time soon in order to jump into the multiplayer.

If you liked the campaign you'll love the multiplayer; being able to customize your bots' loadouts and abilities is extremely satisfying because it allows for all sorts of tactics, and the combat in the wide-open maps is extremely fun. The only little gripe here is the player limit (5 vs 5)... some maps are so big they demand a 7 vs 7, I'd say. But don't worry, it doesn't get boring. ^^
