It might sound weird, but I have to go into the bathroom and either study while taking a bath or sitting on the toilet with the sink running.

That's nothing compared to how HandofPwn making sure to inform the entire IRC of his bathing, going so far as to take a bath while on the computer... >.>

Still, I like to listen to chiptune while studying. No vocals to distract me, and let's face it- as gamers, we're conditioned to be able to concentrate with epic 8-bit music blaring.

There's just something about classical music that helps me study better. That and chewing gum, gets all the blood rushing around the right area.

Classical Music has been proven to increase thinking power. Mainly in children but in adults its about 1 to 1 (1 minute of listen = 1 minute of thinking). Unfortunately I don't like Classical enough to listen to it for that long. I stick to IDM and Jazz, and I agree to the "no vocals" thing, to distracting.

Recently I've been using Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells though, and some orchestral soundtrack stuff, like John William's Star Wars score. I had the original Medal Of Honor soundtrack on yesterday, got really nostalgic for my PS1 days.

Lance Allen. The audio quality isn't great, but it's better on the albums. I also listen to Holy Fuck, Infected Mushroom, and Leftfield if I want an electronic sound and sometimes I listen to that one Beastie Boys album that's all instrumental.
