I don't watch TV.

I guess that makes me a nihlist? Even though I'm not? Maybe?

If we're talking games too.......then I desire to be a spiky haired guy saving the world above all else....XD

When I do watch TV, it is mostly Comedy shows or Football and other sports.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that means I like Comedy and Sports above anything else...

I want aliens traveling through time in police boxes, men traveling to distance galaxy in star-ships, burned spies who operate out of Miami, and lots and lots of cartoon people (most of which have super powers).

I watch very little TV, so it pretty much boils down to either wanting to exist in the future and live on a space-ship, or I want to be a magical pony.

... yeah.

No, that honour must be reserved for the one who invented:

I watched....uh...Spongebob and a few other cartoons on Nick when I was a Tween(hate that word, by the way). So I guess I want to have the most annoying laugh in the world.

I haven't watched TV other than shit my friends have on in about 5 months, and I intend on keeping it that way.

Nobody here watches Tv?.......maybe thats why all the good shows get canceled.
I doubt anyone here is a Nielsen household member.

I haven't had cable in over a year, and I don't miss it. Watch a ton of TV on DVD, though. I'm trying to think of some comment that would combine Doctor Who, Burn Notice, WWE and Gilmore Girls in one description.

...Aside from multiple personality disorder.

Um...I guess that I want to be a brightly colored Pony in a magical land.

Seriously. Don't own a TV, don't really watch TV shows other than My Little Pony.

If my TV schedule is to be believed, I want to be an animated construction paper politician

In reality, I don't want fame, I want power.

I watch Megas XLR and Gurren Lagann

Does that mean I stand for giant robots and massive screaming?

The shows I mainly watch right now are MLP: FIM, Master Chef, and Hell's Kitchen. So that basically says I'm a sadist who gets a kick out of watching people screw up at cooking while at the same time, secretly wishing I could be friends with Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy.

I just recently watched Death Note. Does that mean I want to catch a mass murderer? Or that I want to be one and create a perfect world? Well, I sided with Kira, so...

Well, fame? Uhh.. god thats the thing I ever least want - attention. Hate it.

So very very much agreed.

And my TV viewing habits prove that I want to live in the future, be friends with a man in a dog suit that's actually a regular dog, live in a new york filled with monsters, be an Avenger, be friends with multi-colored talking equines, be a spy, and that I want to know what goes on in the world.

Or it could just prove I've gone bonkers.

Hmm. When I do watch it, it's mostly the History Channel, with Comedy Central and Discovery tying for second, and TruTV/CNBC third.

Well, I am going into a research-based profession, so History Channel makes sense. I suppose the others sort of round out my general personality.

Supposedly, the TV shows you watch show what you want out of life.

I ask you, fellow Escapees, what does your television habits say about you?

I mostly watch Star Trek and british comedies now. I'm guessing that Star Trek says I value altruism and scientific advancement over all else. No idea about the british comedies.
And this is why I hate iCarly, I like the actors' comedic timing, but the morals on that show are all wrong. Not as creepy as the Disney shows, but it's still about being a celebrity on a web show, killing off any haters or anyone who disagrees with their "show".

What do my fave TV shows say about me? Well, I mostly watch comedies now. Modern Family, Peep Show (whenever it's on), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Louie (both shows about breaking social norms), South Park. The comedies kinda inform me to be more deadpan and vulgar in my humour.

The thing I've been watching most recently is villain-centric episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. So, apparently, if this study is right, my dream in life is to become a cartoony, gimmicky villainess who causes mayhem for the lulz until a costumed vigilante beats me up.

...YOU WIN THIS ROUND, STUDY.
