I felt like making a happy thread, and one that can't possibly start any arguments since I don't feel like starting any debates today. (And it's half past 3 in the morning so I can no longer being intelligible.)

So anyways, what kind of things make you feel good?

As for me, it's feeling like I helped someone, sweatpants fresh out of the dryer, beef ramen at one in the morning, hearing rain on the roof, how the air outside smells after it rains, good morning texts, having a good ride on my horse, waking up in the middle of the night and discovering I still have a few hours to sleep, watching Lord of the Rings, how my bed feels after all my blankets have been washed, etc. A lot of things make me feel good.

So yeah, since some of my recent threads started quite a bit of arguing, I thought I would do something different. I feel like as long as no one says anything offensive, this will be a really friendly thread. (knocks on wood and scurries away)

This scene from Jurassic Park...

And of course Zhang He's ending in Dynasty Warriors 5...

Both of those always put me in a good mood.

That feeling when you are dry after being in the shower. It's always good.

For something a little more meaningful, when I tell my family I love them.

The tickle you get inside your nose from the spraying juices while peeling a citrus, hot tea, the smile of a lady, good blues.

When I'm curled up on a sofa, or in bed (possibly with a beer, or hot chocolate) and there's rain and wind raging outside, but I'm nice and warm. Ideally with a significant other.

That awesome feeling of peeing after you've been holding it in all day. I physically cannot bring myself to pee in public restrooms no matter how bad I have to go so I have to hold it in all day when I'm out.

Also that awesome moment when you first wake up where you don't remember all the work you have to do that day.

When people are nice to other people, I feel happy. Friendliness and humorous conversations on here make me smile no end.
Also hugs. Hugs can cure almost all sadness.

- Lying snug in bed of an evening when there's a huge storm outside. There's rain, wind, thunder and lightning and you're under a roof wrapped in blankets thinking, "Nyah nyah, can't get me."

- Wrapping your arms around your significant other. Yeah yeah, kinda soppy I know, but don't even try and tell me that doesn't feel nice.

- Animals. Close proximity to, say, a kitten will instantly transform me from a serious and dour young adult into something resembling an oversized nine-year-old child.

Beer while sitting in the grass of my parent's backyard with my cats around me. And my family there, too.

My parents are selling the house I grew up in (26+ years in that house) next spring, and the thought of losing the place makes me go over there every weekend to spend time in the back yard enjoying the sun and such. My parents are moving 3000 miles away next year as well, so I'm kind of a suck.

Also: A good book/movie, blanket, and putting your feet right over the heating vent in winter.

And: Sleeping in. I hate getting up before 7am every weekday.
