Stuff You Believe in that Doesn't Officially Exist

Aliens. I know, it's unoriginal, but that's what I believe in. If you believe that the universe is infinite, then there must be an infinite number of planets, meaning an infinite amount of life forms. If Earth was the only planet to support life, then we would be 1/infinity. That doesn't work. I think.

Unicorns, Dragons, the Loch Ness Monster, Giant Spiders, Sea Monsters (Squid, Sea Serpents, Huge Sharks, etc), Karma, Fate, and God.
Oh, and Magic. Wizards exist, man. Not maybe like in Harry Potter, but there is real magic I bet.

Scepticism towards the idea of truly huge squids has weakened recently. Now, scientists think that the Antarctic species of squid called Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni actually grows much bigger than the giant squid. They don't have proof of this yet, as the only complete specimens of Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni have been juveniles, but the size of these babies suggests that really big adults are out there. In recognition of this, Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni has recently been given the common name of "colossal squid."

Extraterrestrial Life. Because when there is something like 3*10^23 stars out there, and apparently a good percentage of them have planets, it just seems statistically inevitable.

Aliens HAVE to exist, we can't be on the only planet in the universe with life on it, however I don't believe that they could come up with the means of getting to Earth from as far away as they are (the nearest star after the sun is 4.3 light years away).

OP, we have found evidence of (single-celled) life on Mars. How do statistics prove aliens exist, and what statistics are you referring to?

Also, why do you believe in a creature from mythology simply because the ocean is deep?

Personally, as a rationalist, I don't believe in anything unless I have good reason to. That's why I skeptical about the collective consciousness.

Hey, I've seen the results of multiple species fucking, yes different species can reproduce, but their children wouldn't be able to.

personally, I think Krakons exist, I think the sea is easily big enough for there to be something huge down there that we haven't spotted yet, and let's not forget that there are depths of the ocean that humans can never reach but creatures as big as blue whales venture to daily. Also I think that, by the power of statistics, no-one can logically deny the existance of aliens

Technically things that are "alien" or "aliens" do officially exist, however little green moon men do not officially exist.
