I've wanted to get into Eve online. And don't flame me, I think it looks interesting. I just haven't gotten round to it.

Serious programming. The problem is that I don't know what language will benefit me more. Continuing C# or start C++?
What are you programming exactly?
Mostly games in XNA. I find them more enjoyable to work with than networking or normal application developing.

and I have to find time to watch that because good God Almighty, that picture is gorgeous. I really like beautifully drawn things and that looks great. I don't give a damn if the the movie is bad, if the visuals hold up to that then it will be worth it.
It's a good movie, for what it's worth. Also, only about an hour long. You will like it more if you like themes of separation and the passage of time. Easily my favorite work by Shinkai.
Completely off topic.

I just did watch it. And now I'm depressed. Depressed because that one girl in the middle of the movie - the one he ignored completely - got left behind, and so did he. What the hell? It would have been much better if he had found her and gotten with her and...

*sheds manly tears*

However, the vistas and landscapes shown did not disappoint.
Hey now, spoiler warnings please.

Watch the new Doctor Who series. I couldn't get past halfway through the second season. Something that long-running needs to have a much tighter story arc for me to care. Too episodic for my taste. I still long to be part of the fandom, though... Can't explain it.

I always wanted to take up competitive target shooting. Unfortunately, handguns are somewhat expensive, there's no shooting clubs in the area and the firearm laws in this state are rather stringent and difficult to work through.

Then stay the C# route, and maybe dip your toes into Python and Ruby.

C++ is good to learn but I don't think it has much use in game programming.

There are some other languages that might be of use to you, I'm not 100% on which ones, I think Ruby and Python are used but I'm more of a hardware side of things in computers so don't hold me to it.

4chan's Technology(/g/) forum, while full of troll threads, has some good amateur dev threads that you should definitely read up on, it will help you out immensely if you want to get into more serious programming ventures

Fencing, Archery and Horseback Riding. All things I want to do but there just isn't any support for them where I live.
