One I remember from a long time ago was on Nick Jr. when I was a little kid. From what I can remember it was about this man and he would leave his city or suburban home and go into the woods. Where he would sing and there were puppets of animals and other things. I would like to think this was an actual show I remember watching and not some crazy, imagination going wild type of thing as that happens with a lot of the time. xD

Batman Beyond. Watched it quite ardently as a kid, but beyond the pilot (yes that pun was atrocious, you may begin pelting me with tomatoes, stones and tomatoes with stones in them) I can't seem to remember a damn thing from it. Which is a shame as from the clips I've seen since, it seems like a pretty damn good show and I want more stuff to get nostalgic about. Oh well.

I choose stones with tomatoes in them.

OT: Mister Rodger's Neighborhood. I remember a lot less then I'm told I watched. Same goes for Sesame Street, and other really young kids' shows

I would question how that's possible, but I'm too busy bleeding...nighty, night...*collapses*

@Phlakes: That was the first time Patamon evolved into Angemon. I only ever saw the first season of Digimon before I "outgrew" that type of anime, but I do remember some names and scenes, and that one does stick out.

I have an awesome long-term memory, though, so there's not really anything I remember watching as a kid that doesn't include the name of the show. I dunno if it's just the nostalgia talking, but around the turn of the century, American cartoons really went downhill, the only really good ones I can think of being Spongebob, The Fairly Oddparents (love that show, it's like the Animaniacs of the 2000s) and Avatar: TLA. The new Thundercats looked promising, but what happened to it? Was it cancelled that quickly?

Anyway, as much as I enjoy it I kinda blame anime for the downturn in American cartoon quality as it happened about the time Toonami, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon really brought anime mainstream for kids and led to an explosion of anime on kids' networks. When I left for Japan, it certainly seemed like the majority of animated material airing in the US was anime or Western shows with visible anime influences. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with that: I do enjoy anime and if drawing ideas from anime can make Western animation better, that's cool. But the stuff that didn't draw from anime, that I saw, just wasn't very good at all. The ideas and animation quality were poor, and they likely wouldn't have even entertained me as a kid. But it's hard to beat the '90s for animation all-around, especially the late '90s, even if what they make now was good. How do you top Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Hey Arnold, the Angry Beavers, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Johnny Bravo, the definitive animated series of Batman, Spider-Man and the X-Men, and infinitely more cartoons of the era I'm leaving out for brevity's sake? Not to mention a modern Golden Age for Disney animated films! But enough ranting from me. This took me slightly less time to write than it'll take you to read.

Another show i can't seem to remember from toonami is one about 10 androids. They all wore these red suits with white and black trimmings and i remember their first enemy being called androids 11+ and 11- because their power was relative to a battery system.
Oh man, I used to LOVE me some Cyborg 009. I wonder if it was actually any good, or if that's all just nostalgia glow?
Hmm.
Anyway, my barely-remembered cartoon thing was a Hanna-Barbara action cartoon about some guy on a triceratops or something. And there was a princess involved. Because why not.

I remember an anime that used to air on fox kids(I think) that had mechas and a guy with angel wings. It seemed to take place in a victorian style capital, and the last episode that I vaguely remember was of two girls staking out a enemy camp when one of them catches a lizard by its tail. When the lizard separated from its tail, the girls freaked out and were attacked by a guy in armor with a sword. And this all happend in a desert.

Sorry for the vaugeness.
That sounds like Visions of Escaflowne. I loved that show when it was airing too.
Excuse me, need to go nostalgia mode now.

EDIT:

I generally remember the names of most cartoons I watched as a kid, but there was this show that was like ReBoot meets Transfromers, where these good guys and bad guys jump out of cyberspace and into the real world where they turn household objects into transforming vehicles, and for the life of my I can't remember the name.
I came to this topic hoping to find the answer to this very show. I've actually been wondering this for a few years. All I can remember is that it was more like power rangers then transformers since it was all live action with cheesy effects but maybe where thinking of two diff shows.

From a quick search of keywords all I can find is VR Troppers but I know it's not this show just by watching its intro on youtube. Any help by anyone reading this would be greatly appreciated, I don't want a brain tumor over a show from the 90s.
I remember VR Troopers, but the one I was thinking of was animated. I'm not sure if it was a stand alone OVA or a series because I only had the one VHS, where it started.

I remembered the yellow plushie toy character but it took me forever to find out the name of the anime.

Just for fun: youtube my user name and scroll down the page a bit.

No idea what it was called or even half of what happened.

All I remember is there is a cave or something similar with a young lass in it that has no eyes.

For the life in me I can't bloody remember it but it was on TV sometime in the mid 80's.

This one anime I think, it had some guy who became engaged to this catgirl even though he already had a love interest. He freed her? That is literally all I remember.
