pretty much nothing any more, as i've been exposed to all manner of awful, soul rendingly disturbing web searches for the best part of fifteen years now (in other words, literally half my life), since before google even had a garage to put their code test servers in.

the only thing i'd shy away from is either things involving peas, does, fillies and "A" in a certain combination (at least, with safesearch off), or m.y. l.i.t.t.l.e. p.o.n.y. ... the former because i don't fancy a visit from the party van even if just getting some information on a news story, and the latter because i'm convinced there's some kind of dangerous, hypnotic meme incorportated into the cartoons. Shit's spreading like wildfire. Lolcats and the original Portal have nothing on this. It's infesting every OTHER websearch I do, particularly for images. There's some powerful grade-A mindvirus in there somewhere.

As someone who looked it up 5 minutes ago, I honestly can say that it isn't too bad. But then, I had an extensive amount of sex education at secondary school which involved looking at several pictures of rather unpleasant STI's, among other things. So it's all comparative really. If at some point in your life you've been made to look at images of STI's, then Blue Waffle won't really seem like much I guess. But still, search at your own risk.

I seem to have more of a problem with Google image search, especially since safesearch doesn't cut out everything. There are some terms that can be innocent and have massive sexual connotations at the same time. For an art project a few years back I needed pictures of manhole covers, I got some bad images burned into my brain from that one...
