I used to work at a comic book store where we sold Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh and such, and it was a great job and about half our sales came from people buying cards.

Paydays were always the craziest. These guys would come in and buy over $100 worth of magic cards. A lot of the time I'd see guys buy like 20 booster packs, open them all right in the store, and then buy 5 more.

So I'm really happy I got out of collectible card games when I was in the 8th grade (not bashing anyone that still plays them) the only card game I ever really loved was Magi-Nation...and most people don't even know what that is anymore (if ever) lol. I feel like I save myself a lot of money by not buying them.

I buy comic books every week and I am trying to cut back on that by limiting my series, and I buy a lot of TV shows on DVD so I spend quite a bit of money myself.

But what about you all? Is there anything that you see people spend a lot of money on and just think to yourself "I am so glad I'm not into that"?
MTG is my crack :( though I don't tend to buy that much I have only bought a box for myself once or twice I ussually just split with a buddy n trade for all the cards we want from the set n then never really buy anymore unless the next set has cards we want to use.

New games. Ok sort of I do end up buying mabey one or two a year but I find them to be a complete waste of money seeing as I could just wait three days and get them for a whole lot cheaper.

I don't buy clothes.

I hope I didn't just blow your minds there.

Seriously, these things are fucking expensive. £45 for a pair of jeans? I could buy two classic 360 games with that shit! It's a month's worth of cash for me, that.

I have four shirts and four T-shirts that I cycle. I have two pairs of jeans, one rapidly deteriorating that I wear for weeks at a time and one incredibly uncomfortable pair that I wear when those are undergoing hygiene replenishment.
Thats not expensive thats dirt cheap. I have paid more for jeans then most people have for their 360s and have a few t-shirts that are currently worth about $250 each, though they are probably older then half the people on this site.
Wow... That is actually ridiculous!I get my jeans for £20 each (from a normal clothes shop) also did you take into account that he used £ not $ ? because that could make a slight difference

I'm glad I got out of Yugioh in time because otherwise I'd spend all of my money of it (like i did as a kid)

Those male perfume or whatever they are called (I don't mean deordorant). I don't see the point to it but I'm not saying only female are allow to use it since I don't care for perfume in the first place.
My brother had load of these which he use them on the night out which I don't see the point of being "smell nice". Apparently these hold to be some importants that you have to be careful not to use too much during a job interview.

... I don't really have much here. Reading through a lot of the replies, I'm thinking "Spend on that, and that, and also that". But I enjoy all of my vices, so it doesn't really bother me.

Fuel and car stuff? Pretty much everywhere I need to go is in walking distance, so I've never learned how to drive.
